Summary: Together Again?
Review: So far I've watched disc 1 of season 3, too bad it doesn't include captions at all (not even English!), as some terms are not always understandable just by hearing (Goa'uld language for example). Luckily my TV has CC1 captions that can be enabled. For audio it should have a foreign language track at least (Spanish). Chapters written resumes are shorter than the ones in the series internet site, at least it could have been equivalent.

Summary: Constantly changing features on DVDs
Review: Stargate is a great Sci-Fi show, but you probably know that already or you wouldn't be reading a review of Season 3's DVD.

I'm a little disappointed that they continue to experiment with the special features on the DVDs. Each disk of Season 2 included the trailers for the shows on that disk. Very nice - we would watch the previews before actually watching the shows. Season 3 does not have that feature - no trailers to be found.

As this is a television series that spans many seasons, we were expecting more continuity between each season's DVDs. Not that they would add something, take it away and maybe they will add it back in a later season.

Other than that - I would highly recommend the series and the purchase of Season 3.

Summary: The Best Science Fiction Series
Review: Stargate SG-1 is by far the most interesting, captivating, and entertaining series that I have seen. Being a real sci-fi buff, I can say that this show has kept me watching since Season 1 without missing a single episode. Now that the thired season is out on DVD even more people can enjoy this great show if they missed something. Although Sci-Fi channel does have re-runs, it is always best when you own the thing and can keep watching it over and over. Season 3 is probably one the best seasons of the Stargate series, but now that Season 7 is in production and airing its first episode "Fallen" on June 13, we shall see. But for now you should definitely buy Season 3 and if you have enough money go for Season 1 & 2 as well. They are well worth your time. This is a great title that everyone will enjoy.

Summary: The Best
Review: The best season of this excellent show (although 3 is very, very close.) Classic episodes, great character interaction, and lots of figuring out the meaning of life stuff.

Try it, you'll like it!

Summary: excellent set, a true sci-fi series
Review: The budget got a little more oomph with CGI and sets, and the writing got even better. I was impressed with everything that SG1 has done so far. There is just the right amount of everything. Character depth, and drama are a little boring at times, but the stories and trials of humans exploring the galaxy, actually have integrity. That's what I always liked about Treks, and the ingredients are somewhat similar with SG1. At half the price for a box set, it's worth every penny. Season 2 is excellent as well as 1. I actually salivated waiting for 3.

Summary: Missing Episode?
Review: The description for this DVD set is missing episode 8 "Demons", or is this a typo? Stargate SG-1 is best! I pre-ordered Season 3. I look forward to future sets.

Summary: Love it !! but the DVD needs to have more features
Review: The episodes are full of action and mistery, I really liked all of them. The only thing that I would like to have is the Subtitles in english in the DVD versions and multi-language.
Good to have in the my science fiction library.

Summary: SG-1 In Full Swing
Review: The first two seasons of Stargate SG-1 were really the pace-setters for the rest of the series. In the first season we were introduced to the main characters and several ongoing plot threads. In season II we were given the Tok'ra, as well as the beginning of the end for Apophis, plus got a smattering of very good episodes. Now, with season 3, everything in Stargate is in full-swing! With old enemies revisited, two primary plots resolved, and a plethora of new ones introduced, Season 3 really has it all. The relationship between Jack and Thor starts to develop, Daniel learns to move on with his life, Carter learns more about Jolinar and becomes closer with her father, and Teal'c, well, Teal'c ROCKS! I cannot say enough about episodes like "Forever In A Day," "Legacy," "Point of View," "Jolinar's Memories," "The Devil You Know," "Pretense," "NEMESIS" and others! The writers became more seasoned with story plots and the actors dove into their roles head-first, not afraid to give us some of the best science fiction material I've ever seen! I 100% reccommend this DVD boxed set. It is worth every dollar!

Summary: Superb season!
Review: There were very few episodes in this season I didn't like. A solid season with great storylines and acting. This season has great rewatching value - almost every episode excites time and time again. While I find myself skipping episodes in other seasons, I don't see that happening much in this season. Back to back great episodes!
