Summary: Its no Anne of Green Gables
Review: While I was impressed with the settings, costumes, acting, and more realistic look at the Victoria era family, I thought the stories were rather disjointed. I thought there were several points of the stories that were undeveloped, just "appeared", were skipped over or just plain unbelievable. To compare this show to Anne of Green Gables (as one reviewer did) is laughable. Although I am a huge fan of British movies, I would not watch this one again. There are too many other good movies out there.

Review: _Berkeley Square_ is a perfect example of why I enjoy BBC productions so much. I bought this based solely on the recommendations of other reviewers, and am I glad. The characters are not only wonderful, but the acting is so top-rate that you connect with these young woman and the people in there lives. Even the "villians" are not completely unsympathic. The filming itself is wonderful for capturing the time period. A must own for anyone who values high quality drama and interesting stories. One warning: Be prepared to spend a day with this series. Once you start it, you will want to watch every episode.
