Rating: Summary: Great Series, Bad Special Effects Review: I liked carnosaur 2 & 3 and 1 was ok but the ending was incredibally awful. These movies were full of violence and gore and is really not reccommended for kids under the age of 16 or so. Although the good plot this movie was a really low budget film and had laughable dinosaurs. There were definetely some jumpy moments in this series but it ends when you see the funny dinos. If you are buying the films seperatly buy the 2nd first, 3rd second, and if you really need the first buy it last, it doesn't matter what order they are watched in. Carnosaur 1: From chicken eggs a deranged geneticist brings dinosaurs back to life. Through a virus people start giving birth to dinosaurs. Carnosaur 2: A crew of technicians is sent into a top secret facility to investigate a mysterious power shortage. And what they discover is horrifying. Radiation has caused dinosaur eggs to hatch and they are very hungry. Carnosaur 3: Terrorists thought they were stealing uranium. Yeah right. What they stole was dinosaurs being sent to another research facility. Then anti terrorists are sent to round up the dinos and keep them alive without becoming extinct themselves. Check out my other reviews under the screen name Nowakmt.

Rating: Summary: Carnosaur the low budget version of Jurassic Park. Review: I liked the Carnosaur films mainly because I like the low budget films they can be sometimes better or worse then other films. I like movies such as Puppet Master, and Trancers. Carnosaur is a low budget version of Jurassic Park if you reallyw ant to get technical and while the effects and plot are not that great it is an interesting movie to say the least. I have never seen Carnosaur 3 but 1 and 2 I did see and enjoyed. These are good if you want to see T-Rex get a little jiggy with someones insides this is for you.
Rating: Summary: Disgusting, vile, stupid, idiotic and youll love every second Review: If you love moronic horror, your certain to love this set.I saw Carnosaur in grade school and thought it wasn't scary but, i thought it was a very fun movie. The first movie actually tries to have a plot and attempts to be scary to some avail. The score is superbly disturbing and the acting is good. The special effects are terrible in the best possible way. Roger Corman did a good job on this one with a tiny sum of money. Numero dos is more in the vein of the common junk of the ninties(like pumpkinhead 2 and Leprechaun 2). The special effects are far better but even that is not too great. The original score is gone and the movie lacks any chance of being a good movie. Number three is the exact same as the second only with a few tiny twists. You may notice one of the actors(who died) from number two returns in number three, yes, that was a budget call. If you love stupid horror, once again this is for you. It does make a nice break after all....
Rating: Summary: Leave Carnosaur Alone Review: It disappoints me that so many reviews I have read on CARNOSAUR are so bad. So these movies aren't as good as the JURASSIC PARK movies. Well you should still stop calling them bad. I enjoyed these movie a lot. So there are corny special effects and some other shortcomings, but as a whole, this set was great. These movies weren't made on a huge budget and made to be great like JURASSIC PARK. I love JURASSIC PARK, but you still need to stop hating on CARNOSAUR. SO people, my only request is that you have on open mind about these movies and at least rent one of them. And for reference, the 2nd one is the best, followed by number 1, then number 3, although a good movie, is last. 5/5
Rating: Summary: A Masterpiece- The epitomy of Australian cinema Review: The story of a young boy's journey towards manhood is the central theme of this incredible story. Ned Belamy has proven himself worthy of rank among top rate actors like Chuck Norris and Bill Lumberg. The underlying literary devices prove the brilliance of director Roger Corman. The reccurance of the "Bobcat" as the plot develops, and the irony of the death of the mothersaurus play key roles in the blossoming of the protagonist. This film makes one question his philosophical standings on the significance of human interaction with nature. After watching this movie, I immediatley thought of the classic Robert Frost poem "The Road Not Taken" -however a little bloodier. I bet Frost's original draft had a theme more like Carnosaur- but his editor toned it down a bit. Now let's examine a little more in depth the pros and cons of the film. CONS: The ending did not leave a feeling of understanding and satisfaction. The visual effects were overwhelmingly mediocre. Not nearly enought hot women. PROS: the dynamic duo of Ned Belamy and Dianne Lad. Together, they were unstoppable. Warning: Don't let the R-rating scare you- it's quite tame.
Rating: Summary: GREAT!!!!(...) Review: Theres only one problem about this collection CARNOSAUR I SAW THIS MOVIE AND I SHOULD HAVE GOT CONASAUR 2. THE FIRST ONE IS NOT GOOD. THE OTHER 2 MOVIES ARE GOOD. THATS ALL!
Rating: Summary: Carnosaur Review: These movies are definently low budget films. It's not that I think the movies are all that bad but they could have been a lot better if 1 they had better acting and 2 there was a better budget for affects and so forth. I recomend you get Jurassic Park if you want a really good movie.
