Review: This dvd was given to me as a present and when I first unwrapped it , it looked really good. After watching it, however, I came to find out that it is pretty much nothing but cheesy stock footage and unsubstantiated one-liners such as "I think the dinosaurs lived at the same time as man due to the evidence found thus far" *WHAT EVIDENCE!?*. These 'insightful observations' are made by the sloppiest bunch of community college professors and grade-school teachers I've yet to see on a three-disc piece of academic work. I don't mean to insult all of the people that appear on this thing, but they barely give anyone a chance to talk or to prove their point. The hosts kept saying "we've seen how such and such is true or how such and such has been proven", but in reality nothing is ever really proven definitively... and that's just the problem, it is very hard to PROVE things that happened so long ago. If anything, I was expecting was a chain of logic or at least a pretty strong argument for why the biblical stance is more true than the secular one. They try to deliver, but they just fall short of the mark. I am a Christian and I like the types of things they were addressing, I just wish they had put more substance into it and not so much fluff. When I was done watching it I checked the back cover to see when the thing was made. I was expecting to see some early nineties or late eighties date. I'm sorry to say, the dvds were made in 1999 and published in 2002. The thing seriously looks like a shoddily run powerpoint presentation! If you want to truly test your faith, willpower, and sense of all that is good in this world, buy Revelations of the Bible and enjoy a very relaxing nap!
