Summary: Not As Bad As Everyone Makes It Out To Be
Review: There are a lot of things about this movie that cloud the storylines, but some things that other reviewers slam are explained. Michael impregnated Jamie to create a final sacrifice. I think he planned to kill Jamie and then the baby. He tracks down the Strodes, who happen to be living in his former home, thinking that they have the baby since he can't find him after he kills Jamie (by the way, I wonder what Michael would have named the baby), since they would be related to Jamie through Laurie. That's what the call that Mrs. Strode gets saying "we want the child" is about. I'm not sure how the cult kept Michael for so long, but I think that's why he does away with them, possibly avenging himself for their using him. There are holes in the story, such as why the fetuses are shown, but Michael is at his menacing best here and the gore factor is off the charts. All in all a good horror flick that shouldn't be controversial, just enjoyed.

Summary: What In The World Were They Thinking?!!!
Review: This movie was a clear cut case of what happens when the studio (or whoever) tinkers with a movie and ruins it. I haven't seen the infamous "Producer's Cut", but most synopses I've read make it sound like a much better movie. The theatrical version was one of the most disjointed movies I've ever seen. Very little about this movie makes sense. Some examples: they never really explain the Curse of Thorn; Dr. Wynn is somehow involved in controlling Michael, but it's never explained; the family in the Myers house is somehow related to Michael but it's not explained well; Michael can apparently climb tall trees and hang his victims from them in no time flat; the whole green slime DNA thing they shoot into Michael is apparently supposed to do something but it's never dealt with; the ending features Loomis suddenly deciding not to run, and letting Michael kill him off-screen! I realize that Donald Pleasance died during the filming, but a better ending could have been used. You watch this movie and you just sit there at the end of the movie scratching your head because the story makes no sense at all. Thank goodness H20 pretended that this turkey never existed..... we're all better off forgetting this one.

Review: An episode of the teletubbies pretending to be a horror film. This movie was just about as scary as an episode of the teleteletubbies! Stupid and Boring. Avoid this movie! Even fans of the Halloween films won't be remotely amused.

Summary: "The best one I've seen yet..."
Review: Being the sixth movie in the popular HALLOWEEN franchise, featuring a masked homicidal named Michael Myers, who started off chasing his sister and moved on to his neice. Now I won't spoil anything, but the beginning is extremely cool and freaky and the ending was so perfect, I don't think, with the exception of every single FRIDAY THE 13TH film and JEEPERS CREEPERS, any other movie of this kind could have such a perfect ending. There is only one thing I don't understand, why does Michael Myers keep taking his mask off at the end? Why don't they ever show his face (they did in the first one, though)? Where does he keep getting his new masks? Anyway, HALLOWEEN: THE CURSE OF MICHAEL MYERS is definitely a must-see/must-own movie!

Review: I thought this was a pretty good movie. I think it's one of the scariest in the series, but it's a little different from the others. This one get's more into what made Michael the way he is. I think this is a very interesting movie to watch, and I like how they brought back Tommy Doyle.

Summary: evil never dies
Review: This 6th installment to the Halloween series is a different yet good approach to the Halloween story. I won't spoil the plot for anyone who hasn't seen this, but it involves Micahel's niece having a baby as well as Tommy Doyle. Remember Tommy from the first Halloween? Definately one of the better Halloweens wihtout the character of Laurie Strode. I am told that there is a scene at the end of the movie that was taken out where Dr. Sam Loomis battles Michael for the last time but who knows for sure?

Review: The curse of Michael Myers avenges his family members and eveybody in his way. This movie has been from bad to good. First the bad this movieis in particular to everyone except flawed character wise. This movie aint scary its not the best. The good is slasher Myers is back for revenge. The story is good the gore level is good for all horror fanatics i reccomend somebody rent before they buy it

Summary: Halloween: The Curse Of Michael Myers - the darkest one yet.
Review: Halloween, being one of the most popular slasher/horror films of all time continues to please fans even in this sixth installment of the series. Of course it has it's flaws... I liked this film...BUT I think the producers went a little overboard when they tried to make the story more complex and understanding when they threw in occultism. Very inaccurate occultism at that. Also this DVD hardly has any extras. That's right... nothing worth your time. Only a little sneak peak... at other films! However this movie does have it's strong points. In my opinion the acting here is some of the better acting in slasher films. Dr. Loomis appears yet again and always adds a great atmosphere. Speaking of the film's atmosphere, it's dark. Possibly the darkest atmosphere in a Halloween film yet. Also, the soundtrack really shines. The cheesey piano background music has been replaced with something a little more modern, and there is LOTS of gore... though a higher body count would have been nice. This should please any Halloween fan, but to newcomers I recommend watching the original, or H20 first.

Summary: Michael's slashed sequel
Review: The plot threads left over from the previous installment are taken care of here, but never fully explained, or fleshed out properly. After escaping from jail, Michael Myers goes dormant once again, while under the care of a cult. When the time is right, the horror is, once again unleashed. Myers, finds, and quickly kills his neice Jamie (J.C. Brandy). However, Michael's work isn't finished, he soon goes back to Haddonfield to find Jamie's newborn child and the remaining members of the Strode family. Once again, Dr. Sam Loomis (Donald Pleasence), is hunting Michael, along with Tommy Doyle (Paul Rudd), a survivor of the first film.Both men think that they may have finally discovered why he kills. Despite a promising story, the film, is all over the place. Thanks to a dispute over the film, between the producers and director Joe Chappelle, most of the scenes with Loomis were cut. The backstory idea is a good one but here it's just a mishmash. The "cult" plot that is left for center stage (in between killings) seems to be related to the origins of Myers, but is for me, the least interesting part of the film. As usual though, Pleasence elevates the material, and makes his scenes believable. Rudd is also quite good as Tommy Doyle. The producer's cut is better than the current DVD version of the movie. I recommend that cut. If you can find a copy of it. It's a shame that a solid idea is left for dead on the mainstream release. It also is a shame that this film series lost Pleasence shortly before the film was released. He passed away. The film is deadicated to him Based on his performance, Rudd's and Michael himself, I can give the movie ** and 1/2 stars and recommend the movie only DVD for fans only. See the longer cut instead.

Summary: An insult to Halloween fans (Spoilers)
Review: If you're an avid Halloween fan, you might want to try to pretend this one doesn't exist. This is a horrible, vile, trashy entry to the once classic series. Michael Myers--the once unstoppable killer, is now controlled by Druid priests. For some reason, the priests have kept Michael and his niece Jamie captive for 6 years. Jamie gives birth while in captivity (you don't even want to know who the father is...) and escapes with her baby. Well Michael finds her and of course we know what happens. Then, out of nowhere, we are introduced to some relatives of the people that adopted Laurie Strode(you might want to draw a family tree here to understand) who stupidly movie into Michael Myers home. Tommy Doyle, who lives next door and was a child in the first Halloween movie tries to protect the family, along with Dr. Loomis (who sadly is a mere shadow of what he used to be) from Michael and the psycho's and that's pretty much the jist of this movie. Now, my problems with this movie:
1. A whole new slew of characters who we could care less about
2. A ridiculous amount of violence and gore
3. The direction is awful. One scene, a woman jumps out of a window (for no apparent reason) The next shot, Loomis and Tommy are staring at broken glass on the ground. I warn you, STAY AWAY from this movie. The only thing scary about it is the acting and directing! **There is a Producer's Cut floating around ebay of this movie. I've seen it--it's a bit better than the theatrical cut, but not by much. There is more character development and there are actually transitions between scenes.
