Summary: SAD movies...SAD
Review: All I can say is...If you pay 60 bucks for these stupid movies you might as well lock yourself in your bedroom and cry.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Its great! If your about 12 YEARS OLD.
Review: First of all these are not horror films. GET THAT THROUGH YOUR HEADS. These three films are responsible for the decline in horror quality since the first came out. These are thrillers and bad ones at that. The actors have NO talent. Any idiot can see that. Ever notice the actors in any other films? Sure Neve Campbell's been in some other trashy films but only to appeal to the 15 teen year old boys...hmmm probably why she's always kissing another girl in her movies... and Courtney Cox? How in the hell did she even GET an acting gig! Sure the first of these was fine but who knew we had to live through two more of the horrible things? Thank god its over... Wes Craven probably got sick of seeing these losers. By the time the third film came out Mr. Scary ghostface was a joke. And Neve is more of a supporting actress. And what kind of ending was that anyway! STUPID! If your 12 years old and wanna be all cool or whatever knock yourself out but your kind of corny not to mention the reason there hasn't been an actual horror film in years... Look don't let me rain on your parade but go see the exorcist not this crap. I only hope this pathetic Teenie Bopper fad is going to become a bad memory.

Summary: scream 3...please tell me theres gonna be a 4
Review: I HOPE THERE IS A SCREAM 4 BECAUSE THIS ONE DIDNT DO IT FOR ME. NOT A GOOD WAY TO END THE TRILOGY. I ONLY RECOMMEND THIS FILM IF YOU HAVE SEEN THE PREVIOUS SCREAM FILMS. PART ONE REMAINS THE BEST. THOUGH THE ENDING TO PART TWO WAS BEYOND INCREDIBLE AND WHO CAN FORGET 'THE CAR SCENE'

Summary: If you don't scream, you'll still enjoy it.
Review: The Scream Trilogy has its good points and bad points, but fortunately, the goods squash the bads. From Scream to Scream 3, the story and style is well maintained which is probably why it held onto the core audience so well. The plot is good, in all of them, but Scream 2 lost the line a bit, but that was probably my favourite one when it was first released. As in most trilogies the last ends in a twist, like in Star Wars or any other great Trilogy. And the good part about number 3 is that the storyline is very accpetable and believable, not some rubbish that has just been written up for the fact of making another movie to make money that doesn't make sense with the first film. The flow of storyline is probably what cought me. From 1 to 3, it all fits in nicely.

Another interesting fact are the sound effects, such as the knife 'shing'. It is fabulous. Oh, and the killer voice is a Darth Vader standard in my books.

Story is original, as well as costumes (groovy mask). If you're after continual gore and blood, this movie is probably not what you're looking for, although the trilogy does have a share of guts and red liquid here and there. You get to understand characters and it's fun watching the movie for the first time, trying to guess the killers. More than once is still good, but it is spoiled because you'll know the ending. A wothwhile movie to buy and watch, over and over again. A nice box trilogy set to show off to friends!

These movies deserve a big two knives up!

Summary: All of the Scream Series RULED!
Review: I loved the original Scream the best, but once in a great while are the sequal and trilogy the better! This movie was GREAT and it has a unsuspecting twist @ the end! I'm SO glad that they didn't change all the great actors and actress in this movie! They were all VERY GREAT, ACOMPLISHED, CELEBRATIES! Neve Campbell is without a dout THE best Actress in the world! I also think that it is SSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOO sweet that David and Courtney met on the set of scream, fell in love and were married before the trilogy! I can't wait for it to be avillable to own Oct. 27th! I know I rush and buy it a.s.a.p.! You HAVE TO SEE IT... YOUR IN FOR A SCREAM!

Summary: Suspenseful, but the satire of teen horror is sorely missed.
Review: "Scream" and "Scream 2" shamelessly satirized the horror movie genre in a stylish and popular fashion, but the same cannot be said for "Scream 3," the final chapter in the trilogy of films. The same style and humorous fashion of the first two films is present in "3," but the movie doesn't have the same element of satire. What it does have is an impressively suspenseful story with a likeable cast, even if its not as involving.

The plot is basically the same with a few new characters and situations thrown in: someone is out to find the location of Sidney Prescott, who has been in hiding for quite some time. Cotton Weary's brutal murder is a message to the fearful Sidney, who is quick to disregard it as having anything to do with her, but when people begin disappearing off the set of "Stab 3," the third in a trilogy of movies about the Woodsboro murders, she begins to take notice.

And so does Gale Weathers, the news reporter who stops at nothing to get her story. She meets up with Detective Kinkaid, who uses her as a source for information. With her new legal loophole of investigation, Gale begins her investigation, running into Dewey, who is now working on the set of the now-suspicious slasher movie, as well as many other zany actors.

The mystery surrounding the murders? Photographs of Sidney's mother are being left at the scene of each crime, photos that lead our group to believe that she may have been an actress. As the clues become more clearer, Sidney will have to face her past, and an unlikely opponent who has some close ties to her.

Some pretty good material here, with fingers pointing every which way at each character. The movie ups the ante by involving more people in the plot, so that the identity of the killer will be a secret until the climax. It places Dewey on the set of the movie, along with the obviously suspicious actors, and even some of the police force come into play as possible murderers.

But, as the movie starts knocking off people one by one, the possibilities become numbered, and that's when the puzzles begin to get harder. The movie throws clues and evidence our way so many times that when the final answer hits us, it's like a brick wall because its was so blatantly obvious. It's one of those mysteries that keeps us thinking, and then has us kicking ourselves for being so blind.

But, for all its well-crafted mysteries, "Scream 3" doesn't have the same play on the horror genre as its sister films. The two previous outings played on all the old-school teen horror tactics used in films like "Halloween" and "Friday the 13th," with characters spouting off dialogue about the rules of horror movies and sequels. Here, all we get is a videotape of Randy, who gives us a few rules that never leave a lasting impression. They just don't have the same effect on us here as they did before.

Even still, the closing film in the "Scream" trilogy is an admirable achievement, a well-crafted thriller that takes some very nice twists and turns before revealing its true colors. It doesn't live up to the first two films, but it's quite a ride!

Summary: SCREAM RULES
Review: The entire scream trilogy rules. This is going to be the best dvd collection of all time. There is no trilogy of movies that is perfect. This is the first and finally buena vista is giving it the dvds it deserves. The Scream 2 dvd, which originally only had a theatrical trailer, will now be complete with deleted scenes, behind the scenes footage, tv spots, trailer, music videos, and an audio commentary by Wes Craven, Marriane Maddelena, and Patrick Lussier.

Summary: What no NC-17?
Review: Why is Buena Vista so prissy about releasing the would be NC-17 footage that they did on the laserdisc version? They say that their policy is that htey don't want to release anything that was deemed inappropriate for people under 17 by the MPAA but they already did with the laserdisc! And does really not showing slightly more graphic material really make it any more or less anti-family. There is brutal violence like you wouldn't imagine in all the Screams! No body under 18 should be watching these movies at all! Does buena vista think that there is anything morally different between the R and NC-17 rated version because the MPAA says so? Where's the shame Disney?

These versions are exactly the same as the previous versions except Scream 2 now has behind the scenes and they probably all have anamorphic transfers. If you already have the screams don't buy this trilogy unless you're a Scream completist. But if you really wan't to get scared buy the Omen trilogy.

Summary: excellent horror classic
Review: the movie is just unbelievable point blank. neve campbell, courtney cox-arquette & david arquette, take the scream horror series to the next level with this shocking thriller. all the favorites from the first 2 movies, didn't quite servive but cotton weary does make a guest appearence in the film's horrifying opener though that sets the pace for the rest of the movie. jenny mcarthy even makes a guest appearence in the movie...

the plot is pretty much the same, only this one has even more action then the first two. come to find out billy lumis & company didn't actually kill maureen prescott, the mother of the emotionally distressed sidney prescott (neve campbell), and nothing is hidden in the horror classic. hated & loved gale weathers (courtney cox-arquette) makes yet another excellent performance, by always bringing up the bad feelings between the surviving members, and of course the loveable cop dewey (david arquette) makes yet another day saving performance in his efforts to help sidney & co.

new comers also make this movie special, especially Parker Posey (my favorite character)who plays Jennifer Joli (stage name), Judy Jergenster (goverment name) & Gale Weathers (in the shooting of stab 3), and Tyson (played by ? ), as the only black actor in the movie, but funny & entertaining.

a guarented hit, with anybody, i've seen scarier, but this would have to be ranked in the top 3 easily, and i think that everyone will like it. enjoy
