Review: Let me tell you about dreams. I've survived it. I keep surviving it. Just like all the other Freddy fanatics who watch these movies over and over...each viewing seemingly better than the last. If you've never been on this rollercoaster ride, you don't know what you're missing. This trip will take in an array of characters, and not all of them will be pleased to find themselves in Krueger-land. This is where he lives. Sometimes it will be scary. Sometimes you won't really understand. Sometimes you will and wish you didn't. There will, of course, be casualties. Supposedly innocent children who have become the target of a maniac whose fingerknives screech eerily across metal - a sound that becomes imprinted in their (and our) minds. They will all take a beating. Some will wake up, clothes slashed, arms bleeding. Some won't even wake up at all. It will be fun - in a dark, sadistic way. The kind of fun that get tangled up in fear, trouble, paranoia and madness and never quite unravels itself. You won't be exactly lied to, but your eyes will play tricks on you and the truth will prove elusive. In the end, life won't get any better or easier, and the world won't seem a safer place. There's a maniac somwhere inside all of us...the trick is to let it surface. It is, indeed, great to be back in business. After all, every town has an Elm Street.

Summary: The best DVD box set ever made.
Review: After viewing all 8 discs, I was left speachless. Those guys at New Line really now how to make DVD's. The studio better hold on to that team real tight. The picture and audio quality is absolutely superb. Who would've thought that I'd be re-enjoying the series that I loved throughout my adolescence. This is a must have for movie buffs everywhere. The extra's are awsome!!!!

Review: I can't believe that it's out but it is there has been no other series run as long and make and impact as NOES has and there won't be the guys at new line are great even down to the free 3D glasses you get with part 6.

Review: The Nightmare on Elm Street films are one of the best horror series around, and putting all 7 of them together is a great idea. Yes okay the series has some weak moments but who cares? these films have to be judged on entertainment value and not great art. Nightmare is a fun ride, watching all 7 films back to back in the original widescreen aspect is a Horror nuts dream come true. Don't forget to wipe.

Review: Put shortly, I *love* these flicks. It was my aunt who got me hooked on them, and I haven't been able to resist them since. Freddy's always been my favorite in the horror realm, and now I'm glad I can finally have a collection of my own instead of having to swipe my aunt's! Like my aunt and I say: when you're in a horror-flickish mood, there's nothing more satisfying than sitting down with a big bowl of popcorn, lights out and Freddy on the screen. My mom calls us freaks for that. But perhaps we are all a little mad, we who sing the rhymes and tread along the boiler room catwalks...but as long as we're having fun, it's all good! Here's hoping you enjoy the collection as much as I have, fellow Freddy fans!

Review: Since i got my dvd-rom, 2 years ago i saw about 200 titles. This "nightmare on elm street" series, is one of the best i've seen. compared to video cassette the quality is amazing. there's also a lot of dvdrom extras: a trivia game in each movie !! so i was very busy the last past 3 days.

Review: For anyone who's a fan of Horror movies, this IS a must have. Now if they would only come out with the "HELLRAISER" boxed set, my collection would be complete.

Review: The nightmare on Elm street series is the greatest horror series to ever have burned its way into many young kids minds during the 80's, it surpasses friday the 13's and halloween by miles. this box is simply a must have for everybody who grew up in the 80's and I personately have been waiting for it ever since I bought my Dvd player. it's a true classic.
