Unity ProPower Pack (Model 4)

Summary: Everything seems to be missing.
Review: I purchased this power pack for my HP Camera. The first thing I noticed was the lack of instructions in the box. There was NO paperwork included with the product. It also contained to adapter fittings, niether of which listed my camera on thier description - althoug, according to the ... Page, and the Unity Digital page, this is the exact model to use with my camera. (I did try it out after assumiing the battery would need to be charged for 12 hours like most, and tried the fitting that fit the camera. It worked right the first time, and since then it has not been able to take a picture - reads dead battery on the camera.... perhaps if I had instructions on how long to charge it.....) Overall, neat idea. I WILL try another one, but frankly, I was sadly disappointed with what I got.

Review: I purchased two of these units and neither one has operated properly. They will not charge completely if at all. Do not waste your money on this product.

Review: Portable battery with belt clip works wonderfully as advertised. On my Olympus I can get about 50 pictures (mixed flash/no flash). Also allows your camera to recycle the flash faster. Only reason it's 4 stars and not 5, because there is always room for improvement: smaller battery, longer lasting would be ideal.

Review: Well.... I tried the Unity Digital ProPower Pack and have had great success with it. Some others on this site had mentioned problems, but the three I bought work great. I think the key to success is buying the right ProPower Pack for your camera and make sure that you fully charge the pack before you use it. It is a trickle charge system and should be charged overnight for the results you expect. This isn't just a cell phone battery!!! Anyway, after the first one worked so well, I decided to buy another version for my Compaq iPAQ.... it is amazing how long this rechargeable battery system keeps my digital camera and iPAQ up and working!!! I bought a third one for a friend that uses it with his camcorder and he LOVES IT!!! Plus... like Unity's web site says, this thing has more than paid for itself in convenience and battery's that I would have had to buy. That pretty much makes it free. I think this product ROCKS!!!!
