Rating: Summary: Not very good! Review: This collection is truly an amateur effort at putting together a retrospective look at the entire Stones history. I was aghast to see that no music was included. Don't bother with this one unless you collect everything Stones.
Rating: Summary: Just for die hard fans! Review: This DVD-collection contains no music by the stones, no interviews of stones members, only their history illustrated by some footage. The only interesting thing about this is other artists talking about their experiences and feelings about the band we all love so much. But it's hardly worth the price.
Rating: Summary: The history of The Rolling Stones Review: This is a DVD Box set, 5 disc - 5 hours 40 years of history of the band. Each disc is one hour, sixties, seventies, eighties, nineties, two thousands. The story is told by the band members, family, friends, fellow musicians, biographers: Interviews, rare footages and recordings and a lot more. About time ! The 25X5 video was superb documentary but never made it to DVD, as "Concert in the Park", Hal Ashby's "Let's spend the night together" movie or music videos. Also how about re-issuing these DVD's: Live at the Max, Voodoo Lounge and terrible manufactured Bridges to Babylon !!
Rating: Summary: No music at all Review: This is not a music video - it is everything but ... As a documentary film which misses the product of the people whose life it is documenting, it is acceptable. If you want their music, don't buy it.The authors had no rights to the music and had no cooperation from the Rolling Stones and it shows.
Rating: Summary: Good and Bad~ Review: Yeah, the immitation stones loop that played throughout the set is nuts! Some of the interviews where lame. Mick Taylors insight was very cool. Exile info was cool. What the hell happened to Anita? My Lord! She used to be SOOOOOOOOOO HOT. Overall it had some good insight. Nice that it wasn't just a Jagger Pole Smoking fest like the usual commercial docu-... that has been out there. I'd personally like to see an updated 25X5 released on DVD!!!!!
