Summary: Deplorable
Review: Let me start by saying that by no means do I have a weak stomach. I grew up watching gory horror movies such as "Friday the 13th" and "A Nightmare on Elm Street," but there is one major difference between those films and these videos. Those films are PURE fiction and this is at least partial reality. "Faces of Death" and "Traces of Death" are utterly disgusting. You mean to tell me if you get off on seeing torture and brutal killing of either humans or animals you DON'T need help? Death is a reality but if you like this sort of thing, are you aware of the effects it has on the people left behind after a death? Have you ever suffered loss? Would you appreciate people laughing at it or getting off on it in some sick way? "Reality" is no excuse to enjoy this. Child molestation is a reality too, but is it acceptable or right to watch videos depicting that? It seems obvious that if your answer is "yes," there's something not right upstairs. If you want gore you can watch gory fiction. And if you think otherwise, well, maybe you can take comfort in the possibility that you could one day be tortured and killed while pleading for your life, and it might wind up in a package like this to be enjoyed by droves of sickos for years to come.
I am one who lives by the saying, "To each his own," but this is a clear exception. Life and death are sacred. This kind of thing is pure evil -- avoid it like the plague.

Summary: what!???
Review: Ok... what i have to say is this is some of the nastiest s**t ive ever seen in my entire life.... It didnt look very fake to me... but hey, ive only seen one faces of death movie....it all looked pretty real except for when they were doing the autopsy on the alien from Roswell... that didnt look real, but the rest looked pretty damn real, and how could someone say they enjoy seeing someone die?? Thats sick...especially when you see some of the bodies they have on there... It is so hard to think of someone going around saying they like seeing a person die and especially the WAY the people die on this video just makes you want to puke... This is a video that shows the world is going to hell, and the people who say they enjoy this are fu**ing sick cause that is just nasty.... some people are fu**ing sick.. and if you like to see people die.. in the worst ways, then get this... but if you dont... dont waste your money on it, why would you like something like this in your house... and even if its fake as they say, its still fu**ing nasty.... So i recammend this to the sick people in the world... and if a video like this cant open your eyes to something, theres seriously something wrong with you and your the reason theres so much hate and s**t like this on the world....

Summary: I love the Faces of Death Collection (Vols. 1-4)!
Review: Some people may sneer at this 1965 musical, but the truth is the film has earned its status as a perennially watchable romantic-drama, largely on the strength of a fun story and chemistry between stars Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer. Veteran filmmaker Robert Wise (The Day the Earth Stood Still) mostly stays out of the way of the film's appealing elements, which include a based-on-fact tale of Austria's von Trapp family, who fled their Nazi-occupied country in 1938. Andrews is delightful and even fascinating as Maria, who sheds her tomboyish ways as a novice nun to accept the mantle of adulthood, becoming matron of the motherless von Trapp clan. Plummer is matinee-idol handsome and gives a smart performance to boot, and the cast of young people and kids who make up the singing von Trapp children make a strong impression. Based on the Rodgers and Hammerstein stage musical, the score includes such winners as "Maria" and the future John Coltrane hit "My Favorite Things."

Summary: Just when you thought pornography couldn't get any better!
Review: Step right up, boys and girls! A little scared of what might happen to you? A little insecure, perhaps? Never fear! Come gather round and we'll show you the solution. The answer my friends, lies in Faces of Death. It's the pictures your mom always warned you about! That closet you weren't supposed to go in! Those words you weren't supposed to say! You'll feel so tough watching it, we promise. You'll laugh, because you don't know what else to do. Such a thrill it will be to view this naughty, naughty footage! And think of the bragging rights! They say it's not real, but that doesn't matter - it's supposed to be real, and that's what matters! And my, does it really make a difference? Distinguishing those lines between reality and the ubiquitous God TV has never really been an important ability anyway. Come on and have some fun! You can be desensitized to anything, you know. The quick and easy way back to the rest of the animal kingdom. And guess what? Someday, this may even happen with you! How lucky you will be! It'll be all real and right there, in PERSON! It might be your parents, you children, your spouse, girlfriend/boyfriend, best friend - or hey, even you! Until then, i guess this will have to do. So sit right down, disassociate yourself from the screen (or better, yet, get REALLY involved!) and relax to a nice evening of Faces of Death! Glory of glories!

Summary: Welcome to life
Review: The Faces of Death series is a trilogy that people will usually love or hate. Its vile, twisted nature has shocked and entertained many people. It pissed off a few as well, but that can be widly expected with a snuff film. Snuff films dont get much better than this, and if you have ever been interested because of the hype surrounding it nows your chance to watch all four. Personally, I'm not one that gets off by watching people go out, but this movie taught me a valuble lesson: Life is VERY fragle and we can all go out at ANY time.

The footage on these video's is raw uncensord scenes of people and animals dying in the most horrific ways you can imagine, from executions, torture scenes from 3'rd world countries, gang wars, hit and runs, slaughter house jobs, ect; and its all on tape. NONE OF THIS IS STAGED. I highly recomend this video, yet I can also say that many of you would probably not want to go near it. I think I could have lived my life without seeing this, but I watched it anyway and now its in my brain forever, and thats what sucks about it.

Life is a thing that we all take for granted, but we can all die at any time, and this video is a good reminder. Very twisted yet educational. It defidently has its place.

Summary: Great......Even in its Fakeness.
Review: These are the kind of movies I love. I remember being a wee lad and watching faces of death part one over and over again. Instead of watching the saturday morning cartoons i would pop in my faces of death video and watch it. My mom would laugh at the scenes that in some cases were obviuosly not real, but still, she would make me hot dogs and get me my pespi to watch these flicks. I guess my point is that these movies are classics. Although i do think the traces of death series was better, this DVD collection will not disappoint.

Summary: a great collection
Review: this is a great collection of dvds. I must tell you that alot of the scenes in this collection are not real. people don't need to believe everything they see. it is hard to tell what is real and what is not. i recomend this collection for those who aren't afraid to see stuff that happens everyday. this collection is not for weak-stomached reviewers.

Summary: Not For All The Tea In China
Review: This movie and its variants are nothing more than a shovel full of slop for empty heads. From the sewer it came and in the sewer it should have stayed.

Summary: Great idea.. if only it werent faked for the most part..
Review: This series is kind of an in-between feeling for me.. In all actuality some of these "horrific" things are recreated, though some are legit and most of the acting is the part thats really horrifying. For a true death fan I would recommend the Traces of Death series instead which is all 100% real killings BUT the thing that makes Faces of Death somewhat near the same level is that they explain what is happening in the scenes where Traces only plays loud Death Metal music and some bits and pieces of dialogue by a voice similar to what satan would be thought to sound like.

Overall, I gave the Faces of Death series 3/5 stars, 1 for the play by play info and 2 for mere shock value to those that are sensitive to this sort of film. Traces of Death scores a 4/5 stars, all 4 for the *REAL* graphic death scenes - the only reason I wouldnt say 5 stars is because they dont tell you what is supposed to be going on.

My advice, try to seek out the Traces of Death series. If you cant find those and really have a craving to see at least some actual death you could settle on this..

Summary: You MUST Be Kidding
Review: When I see garbage like this, I finally understand what is wrong with the world. I watched this movie on a dare and was absolutely mortified!!!!! I would have given it negative stars if I could have. As an animal lover and vegetarian, I was especially offended!!! Anyone who is a fan of this series should run, not walk to the nearest Psychiatrist. You are in desperate need of having your head examined. And we as a society wonder why violence and seriel killers have become a part of daily life. Well, ladies and gentlemen I present to you Exhibit A.......
