Summary: Faces of death is love...
Review: I just want to say that every one has anger in them but they pretend its ok...While people in other countries die of hunger & while racism is actullie starting to feel ok and homosexual & lesbians are excepted in the world and yet we have little kids being born in this sick world. It's amazing to me that we see the sociaty who go to life in their home and think their happy while outside some one is gettin raped or killed or mentaly abuse or cutting themselfes. I always think about this half human and half creature walking around at night in your street while you sleep but never attacks any one untill one day he decides to enter your home by breaking in and killing your family but then he goes over your room and watches you while you watch him but doesn't do anything...Untill he decides to eat you and eat you alive then leave you there half eaten. So my point is? I think this world is so sick and people get false hope about god and life will get better...No, life will get worse & worse and then you'll die. So watch " faces of death collection ( vols.1-4) and think about what i said, ok? Decent human beins can turn into cannibals or worse.

Review: I loved this movie set. My family and I used to gather, order a pizza--meat lovers--and watch slasher type movies. This set could bring your family together too.

I respect those of you who have not been raised on hardcore death movies, and I believe those who have been sheltered from this degree of mortality reality should NOT see any of these or be allowed to. If you can handle it, this is very interesting to see.

I gave it four stars. Losing one due to the violence to animals.

Summary: Horrifying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: I remember watching this series of movies as a teenager not knowing anything about it. This is the single most terrifying thing I've ever seen in my life and I'm 35 now. I gave this movie a 4 star rating even though I would never watch this again. Reality beats Fiction anyday.

Summary: Faces of Death Box Set (Vol 1-4)
Review: I saw the first two movies in '92 and was quite astounded by how graphic they were at the time. I have raved on about them ever since to my friends etc and have tried to find them again but never could until now with the help of the internet. So I bought the box set but was quite disappointed with the content. A lot of scenes that I remember to be real are obviously fake. If you didn't know any better, you could be easily fooled but some scenes are that badly portrayed that you would have to be from another planet not to know you are being duped. The 'Fact or Fiction' part enlightens the viewer about what scenes are staged from the man who directed these films. I understand his comments that certain things have happened to people throughout time but for whatever reason, he was not able to film or obtain footage of the event so they re-enacted it (quite badly for the most part). There are some interesting parts to these movies though and you would need a strong stomach to watch some of it. I would give the presentation of the box set and the service from Amazon.com 5 stars but the content only pulls a 2 from me.

Summary: What's all the fuss about?
Review: I saw this "Faces of Death" series a short while ago and I can't even believe that some people class it as "horror"!
To me, it came across as a documentary style series with some doctor narrating about various methods of animal slaughter and tragic human deaths...
To be honest, I found a lot of it rather boring and the film didn't really cover anything that I hadn't seen before - except perhaps, the monkey delicacy, where the animal's brain is bashed in.
I then read the previous reviews and found that most people have said that it's fake! Maybe I'm a bit gormless as I thought they looked real enough! Haha, never mind.
Pretty much a big fuss over nothing and a waste of money, if you ask me. Spend your money on something more interesting!

Summary: life and death
Review: I thought faces of death collection volumes 1-4 was absoulutely fascinating. It is informative, shocking, explicit and gives some insights into a topic that society chooses to ignore.

Summary: BAD by even monzo standards
Review: I was completely appalled by how obvious it is that the majority of scenes from these films are phony, with no effort whatsoever to make the gore look real. I appreciate genuine macabre, real blood and guts, but this doesn't even come close. Granted, a few scenes from the first movie almost look authentic, but 99% of the rest of the series is so badly staged, it's silly. These movies aren't even entertaining (in fact they're quite dull) compared to other monzo series. Take one gore lover's advice: Stay far, far away from this.

Summary: "Dude, Did You See That Guy Get Run Over? Freakin' Awesome!"
Review: I'm so sorry that many of the reviewers were disappointed that the blood and guts splattered before their eyes were merely special effects. It's always heartbreaking to see any citizen deprived of his God given right to watch his fellow man be massacred on film while they sit in their mom's dank basement with a wide grin on their face. To those who would derive pleasure from the contents of this series, do civilization a favor and reenact your favorite scene. Or you can try reading a book...which ever presents less of a moral dilemma for you.

Summary: Pointless.
Review: I'm sure some people will *love* this. The people who enjoy things like this are bored thill-seekers, desensitised to everything, with very little life-experience. They have no idea what real death is (particularly violent death), and the impact it has on the people who are left behind. People who enjoy this kind of thing who *have* had experience of death first-hand probably have some fairly serious problems and should seek help.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: A dreadful DVD.
Review: It is a sad state about our society that such a sadistic DVD collection can be sold,or even that some "people" would want to buy it. It is pornography of the worst kind. Avoid it.
