Rating: Summary: 3rd is Usually Not as Good Review: 'Hard Battle' is actually a really good season of Ranma, but there are few things that make me a little irritated. The animators seemed to become rather lazy, since at some parts the art seemed rather slopped, and it's obvious there wasn't much effort into it. Couple times I can recall this are in episodes 16 and 23. One thing I didn't like (and I'm not sure what some of you others would think,) were the episodes that seemed completely random. No one 'plot/idea' seemed to carry on from one episode to another very much like in the first and second season (Shampoo's entrance and the Japanese Nan'nichuan.) I happen to just be someone who likes one idea to carry on for a bit. It's because of those little errors I knock the series down to four stars instead of five. On the positive side, Ranma 1/2 is still an excellent anime. Full of laughs (a lot more for some people,) the continuing mind-blowing music that sets in near perfection with the settings, and of course...some new characters. All in all, this is a good series, and I would recommend it to anyone who likes Ranma 1/2.

Rating: Summary: One of the worst Review: 1. The animation is horrible! The first season had better animation than this one. There are many scenes where it looks like they just painted some manga scenes and tilted the screen a little (when Ukyo hits Ranma in episode 1). 2. Most of the episodes were rushed stories and pretty much the only episodes that were Manga episodes were the ones in the first two DVDs Buy this DVD if you want to collect Ranma merchandise, but I don't suggest this to be your first box set (it was unfortunately mine). Buy the Random Rhaphsody set, its theme song is great (the name is Zettai part 2) and the made up episodes are funny.
Rating: Summary: Ranma does it again! Review: An old friend got me hooked into Ranma in highschool. It was the very first anime I had ever seen and I LAUGHED my BUTT off for hours as I watched poor Ranma's plight. The 3rd Season contains the entry of many new characters, including my favorite character, Ukyo, the mistaken male Female, and Ranma's "cute fiancee". It also includes my all time favorite Ranma episode, "Am I Pretty?", where Ranma gets hit in the head and believes he's really a girl! If you want to laugh, and laugh HARD, deffinatly pick up this and the other Ranma seasons.
Rating: Summary: Caveat Emptor Review: I purchased this box set "Outta Control" on June 19, 2004 on Amazon.com, and, despite the fact that the defective fifth disc's audio track is supposed to have been corrected, mine is just as defective as can be. That being said, I would caution anyone against buying this barring some assurance that at the very least they will be able to obtain a satisfactory replacement for said disc if it is faulty. The recall offer ended, apparently, on June 30, 2003.
Rating: Summary: Viz does send replacements! Review: If anyone bought this and is upset about the lack of Japanese audio, they simply have to send back the faulty disc to Viz and they send a replacement. I just got mine two days ago, and it only took a few days to ship (though they say it can take up to 4 weeks). This is a wonderful series, and everyone should enjoy it in its original language!
Rating: Summary: A Must Get Set for Ranma Fans - Enter Ukyo Review: If you are a Ranma fan this is a must get set. For one thing it continues on from the 2nd season and introduces the very cute Ukyo, another Ranma fiance and an important character in future episodes. There is much less continuity in this season compares to seasons 1 & 2. Some of the episodes are very weak and don't really build on the overall story. However, there are a few very strong episodes must see episodes that reveal very interesting details about the background of key characters such as the relationship between Happosai and Shampoo's great great grandmother. Some episodes are a must see just because they are simply very very funny.
Rating: Summary: Ranma 1/2 is by far the best anime around, and this is why.. Review: If you dont know the story of Ranam 1/2 its about a boy named...Ranma Saotome who went training with his father (Genma) in Jusenkyo, China. This training ground is cursed and has Springs of drowned SOMETHINGS, While training Genma falls into Spring of drowned Panda, so when splashed with cold water, Genma turns to a panda and splashed with hot water turns back to a man. And Ranma...well he fell in spring of drowned girl. So you gessed it, he turns into a girl. Well, this hasnt come out on DVD yet but i have seen it all on VHS. Ill come back and give a full review June 30!
Rating: Summary: More Ranma! Review: If you liked the first and second seasons of Ranma, then you will love the third ^_^ Ranma is still trying to reverse his curse, but with lots of problems between. Shampoo is back and has lots of tricks up her sleeve in order to get Ranma for herself. And Ryoga is still trying to confess his feelings to Akane. Happosai is up to his regular tricks, and... WHAT IS THIS?! ANOTHER FIANCEE? Animation: 4 out of 5 Quality: 5 out of 5 Sound: 5 out of 5 I did experience a few problems though. The first, which isn't really a problem, is that my box is the same as the picture shown, but it has Ryoga on instead of girl-type Ranma. Another problem I experienced was that occasionally, there wouldn't be a subtitle; this only happened once or twice though, nothing too big. The biggest problem though, was that in episodes 22 and 23, there was no Japanese audio, both tracks were in English. Maybe this is just my DVD player, but I doubt it. The dub isn't horrible to listen too, and the subs still work, so it's not too bad. Other than that, it was wonderful; Ranma delivers the same hilarity as usual. I was satisfied.
Rating: Summary: Very Nice Review: If you're looking for fighting scenes skip this one. Although there are frequent fight scenes, Ranma learns no techniques, and he almost never uses his old fighting styles. The point of this one is to watch romance unfold between Ranma and Akane. The best scene is when Akane has a cold, and Ranma has a curse where he must hug someone whenever he sneezes. This episode shows quite a lot of film humor (for instance, they are playing this movie where some guy says that she doesn't love this man but embraces him, and later Ranma embraces Akane, and you hear a boat whistle). The next best episode is when the local fortuneteller reads a Tower when Happosai passes (Happosai is the source of all ruin anyway), and Akane has to nurse the entire family back with some weird witch remedy.
