Review: I have seen these episodes in english fandubbed (uncut) anddubbed into english cut.

I can't wait for this dub to comeout. Finally Sailor Moon will get what it deserves! I know it will begood. Pioneer has done a great job in the past, hybrid dvds are greatand the story itself in SM is great. This season had the best ratingsof all five. Now - see it how it should be seen.

I have to say thatthe cut lacks a great deal. Especially when one talks about thehomosexual relationship between Haruka Ten'no and Michiru Kai'oh(Amara and Michelle). For the cut dub, entire episodes had to berewritten. And in later seasons, changing the relationship would bedisasterous for the show. When Haruka and Michiru die in Sailor Stars, and they're trying to reach to each other- and only their hands meet -it's so beautiful you forget that they're gay. It doesn't matter. Andanyway, saying that it shouldn't be in "Sailor Moon" isn'tright. Naoko Takeuchi put it there because she wanted the dynamic. Ifpeople don't like it, they can watch another anime.

In this season,The Haruka / Michiru relationship isn't that evident. Only one episodereally. And it shows their past. No big deal. And anyway - won't itjust go over little kid's heads? I mean - they're cartoon characters. This season - even uncut - is okay for anyone above age 10. If I were10, and I weren't allowed to see how Ms. Takeuchi wanted the show tobe seen, I know that I wouldn't like it.

Summary: Sailor Moon is the Greatest Show Ever! (Also CardCaptors)
Review: hm...i'd say...ignore the warning and the bad rating. i'd say, if you Love Sailormoon, and Wanna know the true identity of the movie, and not wat you see here in the US, then you should get this movie. if you are a true fan, you would want to know the truth about the characters and backgrounds of each, and this is a part on that path to help you. i really didn't know much about sailormoon, except for the dubb, and after they took it off regular t.v., i didn't even get to see the show for about 5 to 6 years! but...i researched, and found out that they had some movies out, not as much as they should, but they had some out. i never got the chance to buy ani, but if i were able to get them, i would surely get the uncut dubbs, or the subs. they tell you the truth about the show, and now a whole lie. but...i would also recommend the books, because...the anime could still mess you up, and the book is the original, by Naoko herself! i'm collecting all the books as soon as i can, and i hope to get all of them, because by knowing the true characteristics about the characters, you will understand the story line better.

Summary: A great series!
Review: Definetly ignore the review from the Nebraska person.

To say that the series shouldn't be watched because the two new scouts are lovers is crazy. Its not as if it is a huge focus of the series and the two are seen making out every chance they get. It was very tastefully done and shows a nice side story to the S arc of the series. While I thought the English dub that was shown on Cartoon network was pretty good, I disliked that they called them "cousins" and edited out a few key scenes that revealed their relationship with each other for the beautiful thing it was. I definetly hope they continue to release all the S series and SS series. I also hope that the support of these DVDs will bring the release of the first 89 episodes on DVD, uncut. As well as the Stars series.

Summary: The Best of Both Worlds
Review: Long before dubbed episodes of S and Super S came out, I had gotten my hands on subtitled versions of those series's. I have to admit, the dubbed Sailormoon does stray somewhat from the original version; however, the dubbed version of the S and Super S series's are much better than the original DIC dubs of the first two series's. As with the features, I expect Pioneer to include the original and the dubbed tracks on the DVD. Whether you like the dub or the original, this DVD should satisfy both needs. I prefer the subititled versions, but even I have to admit that the dub has its high points. Anyway, I support Pioneer fully in their release of this wonderful anime and hope that they continue to support Sailormoon.

Summary: Sailormoon at its possible best
Review: Hi I was one of the few that did recive her fan subbs, (yeah that shaddy world), and I have to say It is one of my favorite seasons. It shows you where anime can go with its plots and the plot of this one is supurb. One warning to prudish parents though Uranus and Neptune/Te'nou Haruka, and Keioh Michiru respectively are lovers. Although this point is never said straight out it is there. However, if your children are avid fans they may already know this and you just may not know. This series is wonderful well written (only in Japanese the english dumbs it down) and it something that will go to the shelf hot everyday.

Summary: A pretty good start for the best Sailormoon season
Review: Sailor Moon S is my favorite season - it introduces the outer sailor soldiers, who are, in my opinion, the coolest group in the whole show. They provide great contrast to the others. Uranus and Neptune's realtionship is portrayed beautifully, also, which is a good enough reason on it's own to buy this. The only reason I give this volume 4 stars instead of 5 is because Sailor Moon S doesn't get *really* good until about 1/3 through... It's still a great DVD though, and tons better than that crap on TV. The japanese cast is amazingly good.

Summary: Sailor Moon S Japanese Version
Review: I have not seen the DiC dub for SMS however comparing the first two DiC series to all the Japanese series I've seen (SM, parts of SMR, SMS, SMSS, and stars), the japanese verson far surpasses the English dub in quality. The dub is aimed at a much younger crowd then the original series was intented for. If you're older, I would highly suggest getting the original version. It is excellent. I would rate SMS as the second best Sailor Moon season (I personally thought that Stars was the best).

Summary: Great Episodes from a Great Series
Review: Having seen the episodes on this disc numerous times, I can safely say that I highly recommend buying this title upon its pending release. However, being far more mature than most domestic Sailormoon viewers, I cannot recommend this for viewers who are either homophobic or do not wish to expose their younger children to this type of material. I do not condone the possible parental censorship, as I wish everyone could see this incredible series the way it was MEANT to be seen. Likely, this disc will have an uncensored warning to parents, and a rating of 13+ to indicate the more mature themes for the parents. I for one cannot wait to see my favorite senshi introduced in the full glory of the DVD format. I couldn't be happier that Pioneer, the forerunning force in anime DVDs today, is releaseing the series, and the art-work on the cover is supposed to be very good, with images assuring that this is the uncensored, unedited version of this wonderful series. Sailormoon S is a MUST SEE!

Summary: You must buy this
Review: I have seen half of SMS in japanese already and it is ok for anyone 10 and up. Their is nothing in the episodes worse than what u see on fox. And it's all tastefully done to reflect a point. Their is no pointless voilence or nudity.

Buy this dvd and show your support for Sailor Moon Super the way it was ment to be seen.

Now, let's hope for Sera Myu (the Sailor Moon live action musicals) and Sailor Stars.

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: I love Sailor Moon can't rate this version 5 stars
Review: I only gave it 2 stars because it is Sailor Moon! I would never recommend this due to Uranus and Neptune's relationship. I find their love affair offensive. If you find same sex relationships offensive stick to the dubbed and edited edition Sailor Moon! It only ruins the positive entertainment value for me. I hope some day they would make dubbed and edited DVD versions of Sailor Moon Episodes and Movies!
