Summary: I Laughed, I cried...
Review: This show is absolutely amazing. I can't think of enough good things to say. The songs were fabulous, catchy, and easy to sing along with. I have seen it about 50 times, and I find a new thing about it every time. I have never loved a musical as much as I do this one. Not only is this film wonderful, but it opened new doors to other films of Andrew Lloyd Webber. All of his music is enchanting. Check out this movie, I guarantee you'll love it!!

Summary: Absolutely fantastic!
Review: I saw CATS on Broadway when I was five years old, but I can't remember much of it. When I saw it was coming to video, I had to have it. It was stunning! The choreography blew me away. My favourite cat has, and always will, be Mr. Mistoffolees, and Jacob Brent did a terrific job of stealing the show playing the magical feline. Don't listen to the other people who are saying 'those evil British accents' because those accents only make the show more enjoyable. Although some of the musical numbers are cut short, this movie is still wonderful, it's a must see!

Summary: Owner's delight!
Review: Our owner got the video for Christmas and she can't help but watch it before anybody else in the house gets up in the morning. She really loves Mungojerrie. She thinks that he is sooooo cute. Whereever did he get eyes like that?

Summary: Wicked Show!!!
Review: I first saw the show on PBS in November and taped it, and then I got the tape for Christmas. I've watched it so many times everybody else in the house groans when they walk in and I'm in the living room. I love this show. It gives me a chance to drive everyone else up the wall. Besides, one of the songs that I'm famous for singing around here is "Memory". I know how Grizabella feels, as the outcast.

Summary: Cats is the best musical ever on video tape!
Review: I truly love Cats! I am only twelve, but something deep inside keeps compelling me to watch the video again and again. Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats is my favorite book, so naturally I was compelled to watch the video. This winter when we visited New York City, I begged to see the Broadway show, and got to. I must say, the video is very impressing, but with the Broadway show, you can focus on one thing and not let your gaze off of it. Anyway, the video is great because most of the time you get to see what you want to see. Sir John Mills as Gus, the Theater Cat, brings tears to my eyes, even at my young age, as well as Elaine Paige as Grizabella, the Glamour Cat. I was extremely impressed with Jacob Brent as Mr. Mistoffelees, the Conjuring Cat. I was also impressed with Ken Page. My favorite cat is Mr. Mistoffelees because of his incredible ballet training in the video and because somehow, he always seems to be in almost every shot! Cats is a great buy. It gives children an enriched culture for the arts by letting them watch it, and it is very enjoyable. If you have younger children, you may not want them to watch the song Rum Tum Tugger because of sexual moves and gestures, but that's the only negative downput.
