Summary: Monty Python's Worst
Review: This movie was a waste of Monty Python's time. I watched it for only one hour then stopped the tape, because I disliked it so much I knew I wouldn't be able to stand all of it. Monty Python is a fanstastic group of British comedians, and their movie "The Holy Grail" is one of the greatest movies ever made. However, this one is ROCK BOTTOM for them. Though it has one or two good scenes, that's ALL it has. It may be worth renting, but it's not worth your money to buy. This is a disgrace to them and I hope they never sink that low again.

Summary: this is DVD?
Review: It's always been an outrageously funny movie but I thought with it being on DVD, they'd remaster the movie....it ain't so! The picture looks the same as your worn out VHS copy...so beware!!!

Summary: Wonderful
Review: My favorite Python movie. Outrageously funny. Nothing is sacred here. Worth buying just for the "Mr. Creasote" scene.

Summary: At times, incredibly funny... but other parts less so!
Review: I've always loved the works of Monty Python, and this movie included some hilarious stuff. But they've also always had their not-particularly-amusing material, and this film had a LOT of it, as well! Worth seeing, but hardly a classic Monty Python film.

Summary: Perhaps the funniest movie of all time
Review: It's a little bit uneven (the tiger scene, in particular, seemed a bit drawn out), but you'll never notice. This is Monty Python at its absolute best. If you have somehow missed seeing this film, do so immediately.

Summary: A lesson in life - for mature audiences only!
Review: Absolutely Monty Python's least innocent romp - which only makes it more fun. It would be even more fun if I didn't have to stop it every time my ten-year-old-sister walked in the room! But on the serious side (if there can BE a serious side to Monty Python), this movie taught me more (with John Cleese at the teacher's desk) than any other film, except maybe the ones you watch in Junior High Health Class, that is!

Summary: Famous scenes aside, not their best
Review: This film features many fine performances, and is valuable as the last Python film. However, special effects and bizarre costumes seem to have the upper hand in this one, leading to the sort of surreal stomachache that postmodern art gives you. After a while you get tired of people acting calm while greusome things go on, or big musical numbers.

Summary: Be ready for THE most significant movie of your life !!
Review: The "Meaning of life" is a movie that will make you cry till you lose your conscious the first time you see it, and to think every time you see it again (And believe me, I've seen it about a 100 times !).Monty python take the very troubled subjects of "existentialism" and "chaos" (and philosophers that have a "s" in their names)and make the best of them - They turn them to a colourful, absurd mess ! I am a full time philosophy student because of this movie (honestly), and I still haven't found a philosophy text that can compare to this movie. SEE IT - OR SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES
