Rating: Summary: Not a dog Review: This may be a little explicit...This film is a great, but odd piece of French 70s sleaze-horror, from the maker of "Dr.Jekyll and his Women", and "Immoral Tales." It starts off in a castle where two horses are coupling. Once you've got over that (guys, don't feel inadequate; girls, don't go there!). A woman arrives to catch the tail end of this scene. She's come to marry. But the castle's family have a curse. She visits the curse in a dream where at first we see a 1700s rural scene, and a woman chased by a bear like creature that's got a very big, hard knob, with a very painful looking buldge on the end (how on earth it's going to fit in her?!) Then we go to more modern times where another woman, in another dream is chased by the monster. She gets it off with her feet before kissing it. I hope I've not offended anyone by this description. If I have, don't buy the film. Though the reverse may not be true.
Rating: Summary: Maybe I missed something but this movie was terrible Review: This movie in my opinion is one of the worst movie I have ever seen No plot no real storyline except if your into watching horses have sex graphically, kind of a horse XXX movie. No true horror moments just some dude in a bear suit doing it with a hot blonde and the african american house boy screwing the masters daughter twice. Not sure where all the great storytelling is or the in depth plot must be another "beast" movie out there everyone is talking about because it sure is not this movie. I gave it two stars only for the blonde in the movie...
Rating: Summary: Made in 1975...and it looks it. Review: This reminds me of some of my father's really bad porn from the early '70s. I agree with the bloke from the UK, this is a pretty sorry affair. In fact, there is an actual scene, as he alludes, of a woman copulating with a man in an ape suit. The soundtrack is off-cue, the dubbing and dialogue is pathetic, and the film quality has that dreadful faded blurry appearance common to B-movies of that time. However, I did find myself laughing.
Rating: Summary: at first zero Review: this was at first fairly tame, then, things changed abruptly. I think it got so hot that you wonder if it was made really in the past. the other reviews are dead right about keeping children away for obvious reasons. I think that if you like this, the DVD "IMMORAL TALES" which was where this movie was cut from will be also for you
Rating: Summary: BEAUTY AND THE BEAST vs. Benny Hill vs. Upstairs Downstairs Review: Well, you can go ahead and start hitting the negative vote button cause I don't understand people's attraction to this movie. A horse with a large wang bangs another horse. Some people walk around an English manor and talk a lot. A whole lot. Stopping only long enough for a woman to rub her delicate part on the foot of a bed.
Finally at the 61 minute mark a woman walking in the woods is chased and attacked by a large wookalar looking creature with a giant dong. She fights him off for a few minutes but finally he gets it his way...and she likes it! They continue on for a while until he falls over dead and she buries him with leaves. The End.
Why all that had to take 98 minutes is inexcusable. This movie shouldn't have run longer than 20 minutes. Plus none of the women were even attractive, so outside of the monster with the spurting unit it's all completely forgettable.
Rating: Summary: Sexy...Steamy...DEFINITELY NOT FOR KIDS Review: WOW! Though this DVD is "UNRATED", don't let it fool you. It is "X" rated all of the way...even more so than many 21st Century flicks. Created more than 25 years ago, this foreign masterpiece is steamy, sexy...beautifully edited and should become a period classic. Yes...it is billed as a horror film...but it is an adult experience in erotica, beastiality, and compassion. I really don't want to give the plot away...even though it is simple and explicit. If you were a teenager or young adult in the mid-seventies you will appreciate the erotic approach to this film...flimsy nightgowns, aggressive self-indulgence and gratification...a burning desire...WOW! Buy this DVD for your "ADULT" collection and keep it away from the kids. I believe AMAZON should restrict its sale to adults only. Need I write more??? Buy it...turn down the lights...enjoy. In this genre, whatever it may be, it is a 5. If you have seen this DVD and have other recommendations in its class...please refer them to me. "The Beast" is definitely a charismatic "beast".
Rating: Summary: medication needs adjustment..... Review: You don't buy this movie for the plot lines; in fact, there is sort of a jumble, but one part comes clear. The mental health medications for just about everyone in this movie are out of adjustment. Everyone has problems, but many of them are humorous. As one might expect from a French movie, the Church certainly gets its share of 'digs' with the priest and his covy of young boys. The women, who are naked a lot, are attractive (not silicone endowed) and fun to watch. The copulating horses get a bit tiresome, but the 'Beast" is perhaps the greatest special effect job since the Ed Wood movies. Almost on par with the fishbowl/ape costume of a science fiction movie some years ago. Perhaps the best part, and most predictable, is the flashback scene when the young woman runs off into the woods; naturally all her clothes get torn off, and the beast attacks her. That was fun to watch, and perhaps worth the price of the DVD. Not Oscar caliber, but some mild fun. A good DVD to watch when the weather is bad outside.
Rating: Summary: incredible Review: You have not seen anything like this. It is amazing that this film is even available, I guess that's why it was banned for 25 years. I won't tell the surprise, but it is definetely not for kids as it is not the Beauty and The Beast, but an outrageous erotic version of it. If you want to surprise a friend or an enemy buy this for them.
Rating: Summary: Sexiest film ever? Review: You have to see it to believe it, and be a little twisted to appreciate what you'll be seeing. One of the oddest stories I have seen in a while without being confusing, and a soon-to-be classic, without a doubt and with my hope.
