Rating: Summary: to viewer from lala land, CA Review: to the viewer from lalaland Ca....geroge eliot is a woman...she had to change her name to that of a mans in order to get published....so yeh, she's really not homosexual....
Rating: Summary: Well worth the price tag and more Review: While I have never read the original novel, I quickly took to the story set up and the characters. The young actor who plays Daniel Deronda steals the show practically-his performance is heartbreaking at times, the way he conveys so much with simple body language and face gestures. However, I did enjoy the rest of the cast as well-it was fun to see actors from some of my more favorite period piece films as well, particularly Jane Austen flicks. Grandecourt and his sidekick made for a very creepy pair(creepy in a good way) in particular. It's not hard to figure out how this story will play itself out in terms of plot, but you'll enjoy the ride nonetheless.
