Summary: Poop your Pants funny.
Review: If your looking for a romantic action packed science fiction movie, this is--- not for you. But it is for Python Fans all over the globe. This box set contains the two funniest movies i've seen, Holy Grail and And Now For Something Completly Different. A.N.F.S.C.D is a best of film, of the first and second seasons. Its got some great material such as "Hunngarian Phrase Book" "How Not To Be Seen" "Resturant Sketch" "Nudge, Nudge" "Musical Mice" "It's the arts" "Hell's Grannies" and "The Lumberjack song" I remind you that all of theese sketches are re-filmed and apeer a little bit different than the original filmings on the show. Now, Holy Grail. It don't get better than this folks. You should really watch And Now For Something Comptley Differnt before you pop this tape in your VCR. It is the story of King Arthur (Grahm Chapman) and his pal (Terry Gilliam) Patsy. They are on a quest to camelot. When they finaly get there, they realize that Camelot is a rather silly place. So they leave and get a mission form God to find the Holy Grail. They Meet many funny faces on the way such as the three headed night (Grahm Chapman, Michael Palin, and Terry Jones) and the Knights who say Ni(Michael Palin as the leader) All and all, a must have.

Summary: British humour at it's best
Review: The funniest film of all time? In my subjective opinion, definitely.

Monty Python humour is not for all. Even some British viewers, for which the humour is suppose to appeal to, find it confusing and odd. But the majority love it. Wacky but intelligently funny, Palin, Cleese, Idol, and Gillam are some of the funniest men on the planet.

Summary: Ni! Ni!
Review: I've only seen this movie once on TV, but the DVD can only be better. Definitely one of the funniest films I've ever seen, up there with South Park: Bigger, Longer And Uncut and Galaxy Quest.

There are just too many funny scenes to describe, many of which have passed into legend along with such catchphrases as 'Run away!' and 'We are the knights who say....Ni!'

Basically, this movie jabs the Arthurian legend, heroic knight movies and movies in general in the eye with a sharp herring (sorry, reference to the film there). Bits where references are made to the film's construction are made are among the funniest moments, e.g.: "'It's the old man from scene 24!'" and 'Fortunately, at that moment the animator suffered a fatal heart attack.' Unlike the other Python film I've seen, The Meaning Of Life, pretty much every single sketch is howlingly funny.

Special mention must go to the point where the modern historian comments on the action, then gets summarily hacked down by a passing knight. The only problem with this scene is that it sets in motion a sort of plotline which results in the rather sudden and (to me) disappointing ending, which was funny, but I would have rather liked to see the main Quest plot carried to its conclusion.

Summary: Are You Suggesting that Coconuts Migrate?
Review: This is one of the best movies I've ever seen. I absolutely loved it. If you've never seen this movie before, what are you waiting for? Buy it before I taunt you a second time (Or else I will fart in your general direction)! You'll pick up something new every time you see it.

Summary: Classic Comedy, Perhaps the Funniest Movie Ever
Review: If you haven't seen this classic spoof on the middle ages in England, you have missed out. The comedy is fresh and keeps on coming in this classic film from the British comedy group Monty Python. The story has to do with King Arthur finding a few good knights and setting out to find the fabled Holy Grail. There are many memorable parts to this film, and it is still very popular today, with good reason. I often find myself recalling amusing parts from the film, such as the witch scene, the wedding scene, and the killer rabbit and the holy handgrenade, which is my favorite part. The film doesn't go overlong, it stays at a lively 90 minutes, and although it leaves you wanting more, it is not going to take a large chunk out of your day. This movie is not a star vehicle and does not use cursing tirades to achieve comedy. (I don't consider the latter true comedy.) However, the stars of this movie, although they all play triple- and quadruple-roles, are endlessly entertaining. This is most certainly their best film, and it is worth buying because you will want to see it again and again.

Summary: It will drive you coconuts!
Review: No doubt Monty Python is a classic. You don't get a mis-matched bunch of knights and King Arthur skipping gaily around followed by coconut-banging servants with names like "Patsy" without being fully rewarded by conneisurs of comedy everywhere. The first time I watched this film, I was little, and I can't remember even breathing. The whole time I was lying out on the living room floor laughing my head off. Recently, I rented it again and watched it with my boyfriend and now it's a constant inside joke. When he's feeling down, Monty always has something to cheer him up. Despite the laughter that will be resounding in your home, there are a few scenes, that, while they would be hysterical in other blah films, just don't measure up to the bravado of the rest of Monty Python. This movie definitely has tons of memorable scenes, and is a great ice-breaker with any conversation. If there's at least one other person in the room who's seen this movie, you'll have the whole placed wired with hysterical scenes. So don't be daft and waste your time reading my review, find your nearest African swallow, get a coconut from him, and ride your way to the movie store. There's no time for questions! Not three or five! (see, I've gotten started already Just do it! NEE! NEE! NEE!

Summary: Comedy at its Best!
Review: The Holy Grail is, in my opinion, the best Python film. Sheer genius, with nonstop hilarity and down right foolishness from start to finish. If you've never seen Python, this is the place to start, you don't need to know anything about Monty Python to enjoy this side-splitting adventure in Camelot. if you are a Python fan, but have somehow missed this movie, SEE IT! Now! I strongly recommend buying this fantastic film. And Now For Something Completely different is a nice collection of Python's best known and best loved sketches, including (among others) the Lumberjack Song, Dead Parrot Sketch, and Conrad Poohs and his Dancing Teeth. Really nice, polished versions of sketches which originally appeared on Monty Python's Flying circus, and a bit of new material. I preferered the original sketches, personally, but this film is a good anthology of some of the funniest stuff ever to grace the screen.
