Rating: Summary: Anti-American French Garbage Review: Please, watch it. You will hate the French even more:
1. Blatantly anti-American.
2. Aesthetically ugly. Haute Culture Garbage. To me, a spoof on French mass-media sensibilities. Its ugly and disturbing. If this is the world san-American cultural dominance the French want, thank God it isn't happening.
3. Basic Plot: Nice French Boy is kidnapped by evil Americans. In America, kind Granny tries to find and rescue him. The only thing she can find to eat in Belleville/NYC are Cheeseburgers which are coldly taken from her when she doesn't have money to pay. Everyone in America drives big obnoxious cars, is morbidly obese and owns a handgun which they randomly fire at anyone.
Seriously, if you THOUGHT you didn't like the French, buy this DVD or rent the Triplets of Belleville and you will have tangible EVIDENCE to back up your feelings.
Rating: Summary: My Teacher LOVES This Movie!!! Review: My English teacher says this movie is great, and what he says must be true because he uses big words that I don't understand and can't spell.
Rating: Summary: Poseurs Will Love It Review: Anyone who doesn't like this movie is a subliterate, nose-pickin' cretin. And I feel sorry for you, I truly do.
Anyone who likes this movie is automatically a sensitive, sophisticated, literary, intellectual-type person. Like me.
So there.
