Rating: Summary: One of the Best Review: Stop. Buy this movie when you can, watch it as soon as you can. This is not only a brilliant window into the lives of the Beatles but it is also one of the best films that I have seen. In concept, structure, cinematography it ranks with The Third Man, Citizen Kane, Casablanca - any great film that you would care to mention. This is a light-hearted and amusing film that has genuine artistic credibility. A joy for first time viewers and those who saw it first in the cinema alike. This is how the Beatles must be seen if anyone wants to really understand the music and the following that was and is Beatlemania. This movie is the Best Bang for the Buck. Buy Buy Buy.
Rating: Summary: THE BEATLES on the big screen Review: Here they are-THE BEATLES!!! The GREATEST rock'n'roll band star in their first feature film. Richard Lester does a great job directing this extended version of a day in the life of the Beatles. Three of the films highlights feature three members of the band in amusing misadventures. The first is GEORGE HARRISON being mistaken for a male model for a shirt ad. Second is JOHN LENNON'S encounter with Annie Quayle in a corridor of the tv studio, where they exchange some witty & clever dialogue. The third is RINGO STARR'S scenes, when after being spurred by PAUL McCartney' grandfather [Humoursly played by WILFRED BRAMBLE]goes parading around London, getting into a series of misadventures, and having a constabile following him writing him up for one violation after another. The BEST highlight of this fun filled film is the scene were the Fab Four sneak out of the tv studio, and begin to cavort maniacly and playfully on a track field to the classic tune 'CAN'T BUY ME LOVE'. As with all the other films I reviewed, I ALSO have this movie in my video library, I STRONGLY urge other viewers to order it for their collection.
Rating: Summary: Great fun for Beatles fans old and young Review: Here they are- THE BEATLES!!! The greatest rock 'n' roll band in the world star in their very first film. Richard Lester does a fine job of directing this extended version of a day in the life of the Beatles. Wilfred Bramble is humorous in his role of Paul McCartney's grandfather. The best highlights of the film feature three of the Beatles in hilarious misadventures. First is GEORGE HARRISON being mistaken for a male model for a shirt ad. Second is JOHN LENNON's encounter with Annie Quayle in a corridor of the tv station, where they exchange some VERY WITTY & CLEVER dialogue. The third and most hilarious is RINGO's scenes, when after being urged by Paul's grandfather, decides to parading around London and gets into a series of misadventures. To make matters worse, a constabile follows him around writing down one violation after another. The BEST highlight of the film is the scene where the Beatles sneak out of the tv studio and start cavorting on a track field to the tune of 'CAN'T BUY ME LOVE'. The Marx Bros. were once the only quartet to do comedy films which is why film critics then and now compared the rock group to the famous comedy team. 5 STARS to A HARD DAY'S NIGHT a MUST HAVE for any video library collection.

Rating: Summary: Why Not Closed Captioned? Review: As one with deaf friends Im very disappointed, that this film (and HELP!) are not Closed Captioned for the hearing impaied. I had a friend who lost his hearing, and who was a very big fan of the beatles, and it has hurt him greatly,PLEASE do something about this.
Rating: Summary: Very disappointed. Review: Of all the billions, I am shocked that they have made no effort to provide subtitles.
Rating: Summary: The Beatles are timeless!!! Review: I love this movie as much today as I did back in the sixties when it was first released! It's like watching a documentary of a day in the life of the Fab Four, only it's a whole lot more entertaining and fun! No other musical group has ever reached the level achieved by the Beatles, and when the movie ends with all those girls screaming hysterically at that television taping, it's almost like experiencing Beatlemania all over again!
Rating: Summary: Gear for EVERYONE!!!!!! Review: This has been a favorite of mine and my friends for years. Being of the "Today" generation, we're a group by ourselves at our school, but a group that is attracting more and more fans each year. It's just FUN to sit around and quote them, especially from this movie. When we see a cute guy, we say "Ay, look a'that!" or if we're at someones house, their father will allow us to say "Oo's that li'l old man?". Why not just have fun? The movie is fab!
Rating: Summary: Loved this movie! Review: I first saw this movie years ago. It's really funny and the music is great. :)
