Review: hmmm,kiss of the dragon works as a whole but some of the parts don't add up. I suppose i was expecting something i handn't seen before in martial arts,very good it was too and good too see little use of wire work which i am not a fan of.I suppose it comes down to the directer,the movement of the jet was very good but there seemed to be little creativity to the fights,the story was good and bridget,well she's purely one for the lads and jet, she works very well in the movie,actually i really enjoyed the quiets moments in the film with jet and bridget getting to know one another, overall a good quality watch but don't expect anything near what jet,jackie or sammo can really achieve.

Summary: Better than The One
Review: When I saw this movie I thought it was pretty awesome except for when the characters started acting. The action scenes were excellent the best part of the movie is when he makes his way up to the head bad guy in the building at the end. When I saw the trailers for The One I thought it would be totally better then KOD but man was I wrong. The action doesn't start till the end and they were too busy with the special effects. I think Jet Li's biggest mistake was turning down the lead role for Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. If Jet Li doesn't start getting better directors and better scripts, he's going to end up like that Jean Claude something.

Summary: I love this movie: my favorite!
Review: I saw this movie 5 times when it was in theater. I personally recommend every one (except kid under 10) to watch this movie. The role that Jet Li plays is excellent; Fonda did a pretty good job. The fighting is fabulous and dazzling! As most of Li's movies do, this one teaches good lessons. There are heroes like him in the movie in our society as well as bad guys like the cop and his followers. Ummm...This is a great one! You may love it!

Summary: Jet Li pairs up with Luc Besson
Review: There are few pairings that work quite well together, and undoubtedly in this instance, Luc Besson's usual flair for action coincides with Jet Li's martial arts skills. Most of the "American" movies Jet Li had made had been lackluster at best. They've tended to focus on his acting skills rather than his fighting skills. Unfortunately in his movies "Romeo must Die" and even in "The One", his martial acrobatics are few and far between. "Kiss of the Dragon" blends a balanced mixed of Jet Li's fighting as well as the suave yet sadistic acting by Tcheky Karyo, whose solid performance complements that of Jet Li's. Seeing these two do battle blends into a menagerie of action sequences reminiscent of "La Femme Nikita" and "The Professional". As with all great action stars, it is my hope that Jet Li continues to choose to surround himself with the best of Hollywood as he makes his foray into the American market. "Kiss of the Dragon" was a great start.

Review: Now THIS is action. Jet Li is at his best. Bridget Fonda was great and Tcheky Karyo was the perfect villain. Everything was excellent. Please, take my advice: SEE THIS MOVIE. Kiss of the Dragon is my #1 favorite movie of all time. JET LI---WELCOME THE DRAGON.

Summary: Pure action... no doubt about that
Review: This is a movie for guys who like fighting scenes. Although this movie recieved no (0) stars from big-named reviewers, this movie is guarenteed to pump you up and feel like you can do any martial arts moves you can think of. Jet Li plays as an excellent Hong Kong police officer in America, and when he comes to America, he brings all of his martial arts moves with him. If you're a fan of any kind of action or fighting movies, or you just want to watch a movie with your guy friends, this is your movie.

Summary: Best film i've seen this year
Review: If it's fast furious action you're after then this is certainly the film to buy. There's not a dull moment in it, with some kind of conspiracy or plot happening every 5 minutes. Jet Li (Lethal Weapon 4) is outstanding as the main character being hunted down in this film, with Bridget Fonda (Jackie Brown) supporting.
Set in Paris, the plot is filled with suspense, visiting most areas of the city. You want a twist in the plot, well this one's pretty good and not at all predictable. Another bonus is the lack of cheesy fight scenes in this flick. I couldn't find any.
In terms of action thrillers, i thought that Nikita couln't be beaten but if this doesn't in your opinion then I don't know what will. Producer Luc Besson has hit the nail on the head with this one. As good as Leon and Nikita put together, if you buy nothing else this year make sure you don't forget to purchase this.

Summary: Real Hardcore Fighting
Review: This is indeed one of the most hardcore action fighting movie I've seen in a long time next to some of Jet Li's others like Fist of Legend, Lethal Weapon 4 (somewhat limited but when he was in it, he was awesome) and one other I can't remember. This movie didn't seemed at all like an Hollywood movie which is good and it gave it that European flavor which makes it really slick and very cool. What I really like is the pure martial arts action without all them special wire effects or digital effects which is totally laden on Matrix but without it, none of the actors or actresses can be in it right?? Though some of his moves and toward the end battle were more street fighting techniques used, he is still deadly! Anyway, Jet Li is one pure REAL martial artist and also the best I've seen.

Summary: So Violent and action packed -that is what makes it the best
Review: Holy Cow, this movie rox big time,when i first heard of the two movies that jet li was starring in and that were coming out this year i went over my head with excitement. This movie is so violent and i don't really recommend it for kids that can be disturbed very easily. This movie is so compelling and the action scenes are so intense, violent and practically mine- boggling. I fully recommend this movie to any fan of jet li or lovers of violent, hand to hand, hard core martial arts action movies. Enjoy the rollercoaster ride!

Review: Another martial arts film where Jackie Chan or Bruce Lee are not the stars. Very low on plot and acting. Not worth taking out of the video rental store. Try something in black and white like The Snake Pit.
