Rating: Summary: Jet Li's second motion picture Review: 'Kids from Shaolin'(1984) stars Jet Li and the beautiful Wong Chiu Yin (Jet Li's first wife) in a lighthearted action/comedy. It's the story of two families; one led by two ex-shaolin monks and their boys, the other (Wu Tang) all girls. Historically, the Wu Tang and the Shaolin are enemies and do not get along. Kids will be kids though & they get into all kinds of trouble. Jet Li tries to bring the families together by courting Wong Chiu Yin, but she proves to be a tough nut to crack. Eventually, the families unite against a common enemy. This is Jet Li's second film, and stars most of the same cast from 'Shaolin Temple'(1982) and it's sequel 'Martial Arts of Shaolin'(1986). Lots of these guys go on to star in Jet Li's future projects (mostly as bad guys - New Legend of Shaolin, Fong Sai Yuk 2, Tai Chi Master). This is an older style of HK film, kind of cheap looking - Shaw Bros kind of stuff. Lots of smiling, laughing, and wacky humor + a young Jet Li & a cute Wong Chiu Yin... it's old but still not bad.

Rating: Summary: A great movie with shaolin kung fu and wu tang sword! Review: Its one of the best jet lee movies ive seen yet
Rating: Summary: Interesting scenes Review: Lots of cute scenes, including when all the boy actors have to bend over for a caning.
Rating: Summary: The cutest martial arts flick! Review: This is another one I remember watching on the big screen. Once again, it's been dubbed into Cantonese (from Mandarin), but they didn't do a very complete job of it, so sometimes a line or two will pop out in Mandarin, which can be entertaining in itself, if you understand the language. Plot- and character-wise, this movie is the best! All the actors (pint-size and regular-size) do a wonderful job of showing how much fun childhood can be. The kiddie fight scenes are laugh-out-loud hilarious. Jet Li was perfectly cast as a kid caught between childhood and manhood, and he showcases his talents with great fight scenes as well as with tender moments between his character and his brothers and between his character and Hwang Chou Yin's. Filmed on location, this movie also showcases some of the best of China's spectacular scenery. Great entertainment for all ages!
