Review: Of all the Jackie Chan movies I have seen, this is the worst. It doesn't even compare to Super Cop at all!

Summary: Good stunts, funny momments
Review: Not one of his best, but certainly one of his funniest. Mr Nice guy is a good JC time killer since it is full of plenty of high kicking and funny one-liners (An example is when Jackie hides in a Chinese vendor's ice cream truck. When one of the gangsters approches he has the vendor if he's see a chinese man around the park, and the vendor responds "Yeah. Me."). Another funny momment is the cameo of Sammo Hung as a cycling pedestrian who sticks his nose in the van where Jackie is getting beaten up. As usual, the stunts (like the cool horse carriage scene) take precedence over the plot (TV Chef gets caught up in gang fight). Also, the actors play second bannana to JC's performance (Richard Norton has the most notable credentials, while Vince Paletto was on All My Children for a brief time). That doesn't matter since it still is entertaining, but I would take Police Story or First Strike over this.

Summary: Jackie rules....this movie, however, is awful.
Review: Jackie Chan is one of the most talented people working in entertainment today, and probably the greatest action star ever. Mr. Nice Guy however, is a horrible movie. Combine a cheesy and absurd script with 90% brain-dead actors and you get Mr. Nice Guy. The only thing that saves this is a few cool stunts and fights, although there is nothing here that would make any of his Hong Kong films look outclassed in the least. Also notable is a humorous cameo with the director, Samo Hung, who is also Jackie's lifetime friend. If you want to see some of Jackie's great work, check out Police Story, Drunken Master 2, Project A or Armor Of God 2 (AKA Operation Condor). Unless your a serious Jackie fan, don't bother with this.

Summary: Not bad but could have been better
Review: This movie was a decent Jackie Chan film but with all of the bad actors it made it uneasy to watch. Also the American version has been butchered with a few scenes deleted and some moved around. The bad thing about New Line's version is that they took out the theme song at the end with Jackie singing it. If you can get your hands on a Golden Harvest imported version then get it cause it's a lot better than the New Line U.S. release. If you want to get one of the newer Chan flicks then go with "Who Am I?" because it's much better than this one.

Summary: Jackie Chan is very much funny in he new video
Review: Jackie Chan is so damn funny. If you forgot which Jackie Chan movie this is, it is the one where he destroys a nice house with a big truck and rolls over a razor blade. It is very much funny and a much cool, and stuff!

Summary: .
Review: I don't mind the cheesiness of Chan's American movies, but it's almost excruciating in this one. Some of the action sequences are quite good, but it is hampered by silly, highly unnecessary slow-motion camerawork and an utterly lackluster climax. On the bright side, we get to watch an attractive redhead run around in skimpy underwear for about 10 minutes halfway into the film, for no discernable reason at all.

Summary: Could have been one of his greats.
Review: Quite simply put, this could have landed itself in Chan's all-time greats (which include Drunken Master 2, Police Story, Project A, Crime Story, Operation Condor, Young Master, Miracles). The action is some of the best he's done in years with set-pieces that are sublime, including the fight on the horse-drawn carriage and the construction sight. What stops it from being a masterpiece? The performances. Jackie gives his usual solid performance, but seems to be surrounded by wooden and ham acting galore. Sadly some of the lines are unintentionally funny and detract from what is otherwise a top-notch Chan film.

If you're reading this Jackie, please remake this film with different actors!

Summary: Not one of Jackie's best, but still a good movie.
Review: This isn't one of Jackie's best, but it is is still definitely worth seeing. The main problem is that the American release(as usual) is a tragically butchered version of the original. Scenes have been cut up as well as deleted and some of the action scenes were changed with some really awful looking slow-motion. Still, this movie has some very good action-comedy.

Summary: Jesus Christ they kidnapped Kenny
Review: Jackie's Girlfriend is Kidnapped ONE MORE TIME, and he rescues her ONE MORE TIME. Jackie's Chinese Movies are lot funnier than his English ones. My favorite is Police Story Part III(three) which is not available on Amazon.

Summary: A very underrated Jackie Chan film
Review: Mr. Nice Guy, considered to be one of Chan's less efforts, is actually one of his better films and one of his best U.S. theatrical releases. For one thing, the acting is actually not horrible and is much better than his previous films. There's also no dubbing and everything is in crystal clear English. Sure, the plot's a no-no and the use of slow motion effect prevents fans from appreciating Jackie Chan's fast moves, but the fight choreography in this film is, once again, great. There's plenty of action and good humor in Mr. Nice Guy and not too many people in this film act like idiots. It provides more than enough action to satiate Jackie Chan fans. This film is certainly better than some of his other American theatrical releases such as Operation Condor, Supercop, and Rumble in the Bronx. But it doesn't reach the level of First Strike and Who Am I?.
