Summary: Mindless Entertainment
Review: This movie was just mindless entertainment. This isn't a bad thing, because it's fun to watch. It's pure action, and the plot isn't very important. Also, this movie is extremely violent and gory, and there is a lot of sexuality/nudity. I would not recommend it to younger viewers or anyone who is intolerant of such things.But the bottom line is, "The Corruptor" is a good movie in its own respects, and shouldn't be over analyzed. If you want to see some cool action without thinking, then this is the movie for you.

Summary: An excellent tale of cops on the take
Review: This was really an excellent crooked cop story. Chow Yun Fat is his usual cool self in this one. The downfall is a weak supporting cast (Mark W.) Still I recommend it. If you liked Year of the Dragon, Serpico and Prince of the City, you'll also enjoy this flick. Also, it does have some unresolved issues like what is the connection with the junkie hooker, Mai. However, the action is pretty good.

Review: Those expecting a glitzy rehash of "Replacement Killers" will be disappointed. Chow Yun-Fat stretches his acting legs in this gritty cop drama, that takes an occasional moment to remind us he can still shoot a gun. Mark Wahlberg also turns in a fine performance, but Yun-Fat dominates the screen in this excellant film. However I still have no idea why "Lethal Weapon 4"'s "Uncle Benny" is in this movie !

Review: when i bought this movie,i haven't seen it yet,and now i watch every month or weekend or something the reason i bought the curruptor is because mark wahlberg is in it im so glad that he didnt die in the end. i would recommend this movie to anyone who is a wahlberg fan [i know i am] after i watched this,my room smelled like chinese food for some reason that ever happen to you? this is one of my favorite movies,this and the perfect storm of course!!!!!!!
