Review: This movie is fool of fight sequences and stunts, If some one comes over and says I have never seen a JAckie Chan movie I pull out this one, out of my other forty. At one piont of the movie there are three fight sequences right in a row (Food Store, Back Ally, Parking Garage) and the fight at the club is AWESOME. Jackie Chan is an original and the greatest martial art preformer of all time (Bruce Lee, Jet LI). If you don't have this bye it I have in on DVD and VHS, I Love it.

Review: I always enjoy Jackie Chan films,as they are so full of action, comedy and amazing (if somewhat crazy) stunts. Although it is badly dubbed that does not ruin the film in anyway. If you like Chan but have not seen this...what are you waiting for?

Summary: The movie that made Jackie a star in America
Review: I dont think any other Chan movie could have done a better job at introducing the American public to Jackie Chan than Rumble in the Bronx. This movie has it all. It is very funny (I love the one way mirror part in the store), lots of fight scenes which are really great, and shows off Jackie's skills on all levels. The rooftop jump is great. One of my favorite Jackie Chan fight scenes ever is the gangsters hideout. Dont think about buying this movie, just buy it! You wont be disappointed. Buy it now not tomorrow! Tomorrow tomorrow, always tomorrow! (If you've seen this movie then you know what I am talking about)

Summary: Jackie Chan is awesome
Review: Rumble in the Bronx is clearly remembered as being the film that introduced Jackie Chan to America, and it is a great introduction. While the plot to the film is quite bad, the action sequences shine, particularly the hectic fight where Chan has take on an entire gang in their hideout. Though the conlusion doesn't have a martial arts fight it still features a fun hovercraft chase. Is Rumble in the Bronx one of Chan's best? Yes, I would say so. It is very much up to par with his other best works. Watch, and enjoy.

Summary: Shows Great Skill
Review: This is a very enjoyable movie for those who just want to have fun. This movie is more of a display of some of the things Jackie can do. The scene where he is practicing on the Wing Chun wooden dummy is awesome. It really shows the amazing speed he is capable of. The fight scenes are also very good throughout. It's amazing how Jackie takes on so many enemies at one time. Like when he takes on those 4 guys in the market with such speed and force. However, the movie is a bit cheesy, that took the fifth star on my rating. Aside from that, Jackie can take on any other action star on style alone. He really has No Fear. No Stuntman. No Equal.

Review: A note to Jackie: The stunt may be your trademark, but your strength is in close-quarters combat and choreography. Rumble in the Bronx is lacking precisely in that former element. Though Jackie Chan's signature is, supposedly, the death-defying, no-body-double stunt, that is never all that interesting to watch. Over the years, directors (including Jackie himself), have very much latched onto this signature and exploited it to death, filming the stunts from 12 different angles and yielding to the temptation, usually, to use all 12 of them. Police Story was like that, Mr. Nice Guy was like that, and Rumble in the Bronx is where it falls apart because of that. The final hovercraft sequence is overlong, not all that exciting, and frankly quite boring when the hovercraft gets to its fourth or fifth location and nothing's been escalated yet. The curse of the stunt. In a good Jackie Chan fight sequence, such as the final fight in Police Story and the incomparable Drunken Master 2, you sense growing tension, human conflict, and pain and exultation. In Rumble in the Bronx, that's replaced by would-be pyrotechnics, weak acting and badly edited stunts. If not for the moments of humour, this one would be pretty pathetic. Too bad this was Jackie's first U.S. hit. For a much better big-budget Jackie Chan movie, go for Rush Hour.

Review: My god, was this film ever awful. Jackie Chan really frustrates me. He has all the qualities of a big-time movie star and more, but he insists on making these terrible movies with minimal plot and third-rate suppoting actors. I just hope to god that Jackie will try doing a project with a big-name director(why dosn't he work with John Woo again?) and competent actors. Don't bother with this film. Jackie Chan's best films are Police Story, Crime Story, First Strike, and DrunkenMaster II.
