Summary: The best of the Lethal Weapon series!!
Review: I loved this movie. It has somthing for everyone. Action, drama, humor, supense, and just about anything else you can thinkof. It even has a touching scene between Leo and Martin. In this film Martin begins to feel like he's "getting to old for this" after all these years of cop drama. Roger's family is expanding as well with the addition of a grandchild. And with the addition of Chris Rock one never knows what will come out of his mouth next. This movie is great if you haven't seen it. SEE IT!!! I highly recommend it.

Summary: The Cycle Is Complete
Review: While I deplore the profanity and think the script could havebeen every bit as good without it, "Lethal Weapon 4" bringsthe saga of Murtaugh and Riggs to a fitting and life-affirming conclusion. In the first installment, we are introduced to Murtaugh, a stable and loving family man originally about to retire from the police force. Over the years, we watch his three winsome, but occassionally troubled children grow into beautiful adults, and his wife emerge as a writer of romance novels. Riggs is a wild card, whom we first meet in a suicidal state due to the recent loss of his wife. As he and his fellow Vietnam vet, Murtaugh reluctantly forge a partnership, (a la Butch and Sundance on the right side of the law), he goes on to avenge the death of his wife in "LW2", after learning the truth about the "accident" that claimed her( a familiar scenario for Gibson, duplicated in "Mad Max" and "Braveheart"), having an illicit and ill-fated affair with a pretty South African consulate secretary who bears some resemblance to his late wife, in the third installment, meeting his match in Lorna Cole, a tough cop from Internal Affairs, and finally, as he accepts the coming of age, embracing a stable relationship with her as well as fatherhood. Riggs never loses his penchant for practical jokes, which are the among main sources of humor in the movie. Like most women on the planet, I found Gibson beautiful to watch as always(even if he kept his clothes on). Glover is charismatic as usual, and it's always been especially fun watching his face crumble in response to Riggs' antics.Jet Li had some moves as the last major villian of the series. It seems that they finally get that thing about acting on the count of "three" done properly. A few loose ends get tied up, such as the name of the often over-confident and antagonized (by Riggs) police psychiatrist. And after all the years of brutal and often-justifyable killings and life-threatening situations, we can heave a sigh of relief for all the principals in this drama. They're not friends, after all, they're family, and the tale ends on a note of joyous solemnity.

Summary: IDIOTIC!
Review: How could anyone possibly claim that this fourth "Lethal Weapon" is "decidedly better than the first and third chapters"? The first "Lethal Weapon" was regarded as the "Raiders of the Lost Ark" of action movies! "Lethal Weapon 4" is repeditive, macho action rubbish! The plot is the most idiotic thing I've ever seen. The whole premisis is just reason for explosions, martial arts, and gunfights. If you want an intelligent action film, get the original "Lethal Weapon." If you want marred crap get this unoriginal wannabe.

Summary: "4": hopefully the finale in this fading series
Review: "Lethal Weapon 4" has three things going for it: the cast's excellent chemesitry, the emphasis on humor, and the amazing energy put out by the cast and crew. Now, plot and logic has never been the strong point of any of the previous "Lethal Weapon" films, but in this movie, the plot is a ridiculous excuse for car chases and outrageous action sequences. Chris Rock is an appreciated addition. He and Joe Pesci steal the stage everytime they're on screen.

Summary: Great movie, especially with Jet Li playing a villain!
Review: This movie is unbelievable, it has a lot of funny parts in it, such as the part when Riggs and Murtaugh both point guns at Wah Sing Ku who points only one gun at Riggs. I also like Jet Li's evil looks, such as when he says in Mandarin Chinese: "Money can change everything," or on the rooftop of a building in Chinatown when he beats up another Asian with his kungfu. The ending, however, is a little bit too bloody, especially after Murtaugh sticks a metal-looking (it may be metal) object into Wah Sing Ku. Jet Li's a greatest kungfu fighter, but since he plays a bad guy, he has to at least die or be prevented from winning. This movie shows a lot of Jet Li's kungfu talent and serves as an excuse to like kungfu and be a fan of Jet Li. (Before I watched this movie, I didn't even know Jet Li.)

Summary: Two hours wasted
Review: Although I loved the first Lethal Weapon, #4 seemed to me to be nothing but two hours of force fed politically correct bull-oney. Sure, there was a lot of shooting, crashing and exploding -- but for no reason other than to have shooting, crashing and exploding. The action and comedy, unfortunately, were smothered by the political indoctrination. I'll pass on Lethal Weapon 5.

Summary: It's beautiful!!!
Review: This has got to be one of THE funniest action packed movies that I've ever seen. The one-liners are non-stop, it's action packed, and it keeps you on your toes. An excellent movie. This is the only Lethal Weapon movie I've ever seen, and by far the best!!!!!! Lethal Weapon at it's best!!!!

Summary: Lousy Weapon 4
Review: When are the boys of the LAPD going to realize it's time to hang it up?? This movie was 2 hours of complete stupidity and I think I'm dumber for sticking it out through the credits.

Not only are the storylines getting cornier, the acting is far and away the worst of the entire series. Don't get me wrong - I think the Lethal Weapon series was very entertaining, but they've performed the cardinal sin of movie making by going one sequel too many.

Summary: Good action, a lot of laughter!

Summary: They are getting too old for this
Review: I thought the plot was flat and Chris Rock's role was totally redundant. He didnt seem funny in the movie at all (this movie wasnt very funny)! The only thing different from the previous episodes was Jet Li's actions, which is quite amazing.
