Summary: Jackie Chan in what has to be his best movie to date
Review: Wonderful acting and superb direction both from the man - Mr. Chan. Performing all of his own stunts in his new film, one has to wonder why he doesn't spend longer in a hospital treating his injuries than filming. Rush Hour's basic plot is that the President's daughter has been kidnapped, and so Chan and Chris Tucker have been assigned to deal with it. What follows is 100 minutes of pure classic martial arts. If you loved this film, I recommend you rent some of Jackie Chan's earlier films. Rumble in the Bronx is a great film, as is Mr. Nice Guy and Rumble in Hong Kong. Bring on the next blockbuster from the Far East!

Summary: very good DVD
Review: i'm not going to review the film, i'll just its one of them films i can watch more than once. Anyway, i just want to say what a good DVD it is, picture, sound blah, blah is all good, but it's the extras- director's commentary, good documenary, 2 music videos, trailer, early short film from the director, biographies etc.. and i'm just talking about the region 2 disc (i think the 1 version has an isolated score track extra). if i were a make a film, i'd want the DVD to be like this one. if your'e looking for a DVD with good extras, then this is one, another excellent DVD from NEW LINE ENTERTAINMENT. after watching a good DVD you should feel a part of the crew, as if you had a part in the making of the film, or you should feel like your'e the buddy of the director and you know all the nitty gritty about the film- this concept was what excited me about DVD, it wasn't nesercarily all that better sound and picture stuff. This is one of those DVDs, that you watch and leave knowing you didn't just watch a film, but left with a part of it, and that's why l like this one. i can also recommend Leathal Weapon 4.

Summary: WAR...HUH!...WHAT IS IT GOOD 4 ABSOLUTELY NAWTING!
Review: This is the funniest movie of 1998. Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan make have instant chemistry in the movie. I've been following Chris Tucker since "Friday" (a ghetto classic) and Tucker does not fail to bring the laughs. I laughed so hard at this film that I fell over and started crying. My favorite scene is in the bar when Jackie Chan "greets" the bartender -- then all hell breaks loose. LOL! Get it! And if you like this movie, I recommend "Friday" with Ice Cube & Chris Tucker.
