Review: First things first, this is not like and adaptation of "Romoe and Juliet." The action is exellent, although two scenes look really cheap. DMX is only in it for about 2 minutes, but he acts okay. The only fault I found with it is that there is too much rap music in it. If you like Jet Li and you like action, go see this movie.

Review: I just dont know what they was thinking in this one, I mean who is Romeo? what was his involvement with this movie? If I could rated this film for the fight scenes, it would be higher maybe. Jet Li is not the same Jet Li of Black Mask in this movie, now when co-star Aaliyah comes in the scenes a glow of lights lite up, then dim when absence.

Review: I have to say, I expected alot more of jet's fighting scenes. He is a very talented martial artist, and one of my favorite! But, the use of wires and NOT alot of eye catching teqniques made the fight scences not that great. I have seen all of jet's films and this one is not even in the top 5.I just expected more of Jet. It is a jet li movie though so I HAD to give it 3 stars. Overall I guess it was an OK film.

Review: Romeo must die is a must see movie if you like any kinds of martial arts or action. Jet Li is amazing in his first english speaking movie. The movie had a great story and everything but lacked a little bit of action.....also too much wiring and it didnt show what jet could really do...but overall this movie is awesome and everyone who likes jet li needs to own it.

Review: Its somewhat based on ROMEO AND JULIET with a martial twist. This is one of the best Jet Li movies i've ever seen. It mixes hip-hop and martial arts, and its tight. the fight scenes, which there are plenty of, are so awesome. Its a great movie for Jet Li to have his first leading hollywood role, good story, good characters, and Jet li is awesome in the movie.

Review: The movie is great. It has everything needed to be a great movie. Nice cars, fine girl, style, and action. I didn't expect this movie to be this good. I was in awe when the movie was over. You have to watch it!!!!!

Summary: A step in the right direction, just not there yet
Review: I loved Jet Li in "Lethal Weapon 4". It was the first time I'd seen him, and his moves were awesome. Then "Black Mask" came out, and we were treated to people flying around attached to wires and generally campy comic book fighting. So when "Romeo Must Die" came out, I was there to see it when it opened. I thought we'd finally get to see Jet perform like he had in "LW4", rather than another wire-act like in "BM". Well, instead, we get a combination of the two. There's not enough wire-flying to say it's always there, but it does have a tendency to pop up at unnecessary moments. Jet is an incredible fighter, so why he resorts to sudden bursts of flight are beyond me. I WILL say that this movie is cool in that it actually shows x-ray shots of bones being broken in opponents and such. Never seen that done before! And Russell Wong makes an incredible adversary for him! When he takes on a group of guys and uses wire clips to wrap them up as he goes along, it's incredible! Unfortunately, the film goes a LONG time with no action at times, trying to build on a good plot idea, but forgetting that we paid to see people get hit alot. All in all, a LOT better than "BM", but still not where he could be. Lose the wires for the next film, Jet...please! You're good enough without them.

Review: This movie was the bomb! Not a boring moment. The action was never ending. The cast was excellent. The special effects were remarkable. A must see action film, with just the right amount of tactful humor.
