Summary: Hilariously Entertaining
Review: Rush Hour 2 is a formidable follow-up to the first movie, and in fact, I would say it is even funnier than the first one. It may not be the most plot intensive movie, but what it lacks in that respect is more than made up for with its comedy. Jackie Chan, as expected, provides some great action sequences but I think a big difference between the second and the first is the added comical role that Jackie Chan plays, and the added action role that Chris Tucker plays (along with his incredibly funny lines, of course). All in all, it was a great movie and I recommend it to everyone!

Summary: Very funny.
Review: It's nice to have an Asian and a Black acting together, chasing after an Latino girl. Though might not be as good as the first, the movie still lives up to Jackie Chen's reputation, and Chris Tucker too, of course. Funny stuff. I would say Chris Tucker tried just a little bit too hard making jokes, and Jackie could have been just a little bit smarter. Zhang Ziyi was allright, but I did't like her play bad...

Summary: Action Packed Fun
Review: Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker are the best duo in movies. The movie is funny through the entire thing. A must see.

Summary: Better than the first!
Review: Tucker and Chan are a great team. Once again the two combine great action with sarcastically funny one-liners. If you liked the first Rush Hour, you will love the second. I would recommend this flick to anyone!

Summary: This summer's most enjoyable and fun movie!
Review: Forget about what the critics said, with all the negative reviews out there I thought Rush Hour 2 was just more of the same thing, instead, this was the most fun I've had watching a movie this year. Director Brett Ratner did a great job with this sequel, more laughs with non-stop action, this is one film you should not miss in a summer filled with disappointments.

On vacation in Hong Kong, Inspector Lee and Detective Carter finds themselves in the midst of another case, this time they are after a triad boss dealing in smuggling and money laundering. Although we've learned not to expect too much in the plot of an action movie, Rush Hour 2 actually offered a decent story, with a few twists thrown in. The strength of this film rests on the chemistry between Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker, and since the characters already have a relationship with each other, it's great to see those two being so comfortable in the roles and having so much fun with it. At 47 Chan is still agile and it's still a delight to watch him in action; Tucker on the other hand was able to be funny without being overbearing. Even though Zhang Ziyi had almost no dialogue, she held her own portraying the bad girl on a mean streak, beautiful yet deadly, a powerful combination.

Rush Hour 2 is definitely a crowd pleaser, don't go in with a high expectation, and you'll find it surprisingly enjoyable, there was never a dull moment. Be sure to stay for the blooper reel at the end, and you know what, Rush Hour 3 doesn't seem like such a bad idea now, I actually find myself looking forward to it.

Summary: "Rush Hour 2"...much, much better than the original!!
Review: I saw "Rush Hour 2" two times at the theaters, and the film kept getting better and better! "Rush Hour 2" has more action, more comedy than the first film! And both Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan just couldn't be better...or funnier! It doesn't mean that the first "Rush Hour" was a bad movie, because I loved the first one as well. Remember in the first film when Jackie Chan was the fish out of water in Chris Tucker's world of L.A? Well, now, it's Chris Tucker's turn to be the fish out of water in Jackie Chan's world of Hong Kong. "Rush Hour 2" chronicles L.A.'s Detective James Carter (Tucker) and Hong Kong's Detective Lee (Chan) investigating a counterfeiting scheme that involves a dangerous Chinese triad leader (John Lone). As far as the acting sequences go, Jackie Chan did an outstanding job as always. And hey, even Chris Tucker decided to get in on the action as well, and that was amazing! Zhang Ziyi ("Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon") did a superb job as well in her villainous role as the triad leader's henchwoman. In conclusion, if you want to see a typical buddy-buddy cop movie, then I suggest that you see "Rush Hour 2" as soon as possible! A great DVD addition to add on to the first one.

Summary: Too much like the first one...
Review: I thought that the movie was good, but it suffers from Jackie trying to act like Tucker did in the first one... The Beach Boys in one example when Tucker lobs the CD out the car window. Tt seems that Lee was a big head in this one... Carter was really wanting a vacation, but ends up in a big case involving a man that likes bombs and cold blooded murder.

The nice thing about the movie is that we get to see Chris Tucker duke it out at the massage parlor and with the chick at the casino. Other then that it could have done better without the rectcled lines from the first film...
