Summary: FAST &FUN FOLLOW UP
Review: The second instalment of Rush Hour.Is a avg 4.5 star. The movie picks up where the first one left off.In Hong Kong.Inspector Lee with his unlikely partner in tow, keeps taking on cases instead of relaxing. This leads upto his taking on a case too track down the Chiness Traids. After the U.S embossy is bombed. His mission too break the ring, and on a personal note too avenge his father's death. From Hong Kong too L.A too Vegas .The duo goes from one side splitting location too another.Jackie turns out even more of his humorious kung-fu with the unlikely aided of everday objects like trash cans.He carries this movie at the few points it begins to slack.Tucker has tuned down his mouth, but it still goes a mile a minute:Insultening almost everyone he meets,or braging. He also gets his butt kicked bye Zhang Ziyi(Tiger/Dragon) every time they meet. The story it self is good for something that is somewhat recycled idea. The stunts bye Chan are nothing less then enterting.general fx good. The movie on a whole kept a near sell out audience in stiches & the out takes leads one too beleive a third instalment is on the horrizion.Which as indecated at the end of this one will take place in NY.

Summary: Just As Good As The First, If Not Better
Review: Summed up, I'd say Rush Hour 2 is just as good, if not better, than the original Rush Hour. The movie, like most Jackie Chan flicks, contains the same GREAT ACTION, GREAT STUNTS and GREAT LAUGHS that you've come to expect from Jackie flicks. This one does not disappoint.

Much like the original Rush Hour, Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan continue that awesome chemistry they have that made the original such a HUGE hit. This time though the tables are slightly reversed as the flick picks up in Hong Kong (right where the original ended when they took their vacation) with Tucker being the fish out of water doing cultural and language faux paux in Hong Kong. The movie actually continues some of the storyline threads of the original referring back to Jackie's (Inspector Lee's) deceased father. The basic premise of the storyline has Jackie and Tucker (along with the U.S. Secret Service) tracking down a counterfeit dollar bill ring throughout Hong Kong and the U.S. all the way to Vegas (where else). Tons of laughs and loads of action are left in the wake of their trail.

Highlights: Loads of laughs as Chris Tucker tries to speak Chinese and sing karaoke. Tons of AWESOME fight scenes (in particular the massage parlor scene). Tons of HILARIOUS (albeit perhaps politically incorrect) repartee with Chris Tucker. Our heroes streaking through the streets of Hong Kong. Tons of beautiful women.

Things to Beware of: Chris Tucker's mouth. While his tirades are often hilarious, some (like Roger Ebert) may find some the movies dialogue inappropriate (racist).

The End of Movie Bloopers: Of course being a Jackie Chan film, one of the distinct highlights of his movies are the end of movie bloopers. There are several goods ones in here, particularly a cell phone call and the big hint at the next Rush Hour flick (as was set-up in the closing scene of the movie).

Overall, it you are into Jackie Chan or Chris Tucker or Action Comedies or the first Rush Hour, you KNOW you'll be seeing this one. You won't be disappointed.

Highly Recommended.

Summary: A Total Riot!!
Review: From the opening where Chris Tucker dances like Micheal Jackson in a dangerous bar filled with thugs to the outtakes during the credits, the hilarity never lets up. Jackie Chan does some unbelievable stunts and the duo just plain kick some bad guy butt. The fight scenes are very well-coordinated and seem very realistic. The plot line is decent, going along very well with the plot line set forth in the prequel, while revealing Chief Inspector Lee's history. The humor comes from Chris Tucker in the form of one-liners. Anyway excellent movie that is not a waste of your time, and is pure entertainment. Go Watch it ASAP!!

Summary: Unabashed Jackie Chan Fan
Review: Decided to see this on the night it opened in my area and was very glad I did. Jackie Chan fans won't want to miss this sequel. I felt it started a little slow but from the time Jackie began swinging from the bamboo scafolding to the outtakes it was action and laughs, I was crying by the end of the outtakes. Hope to see the return of Crenshaw Kitchen and it's crew in RH 3. Be sure to catch the Police/Puff Daddy sample, our audience seem to miss the joke.

Summary: Sit in "Rush Hour" to see this movie
Review: Okay well if you have looked at the recent reviews for this movie they were far from good. Of course who wants to believe half of them considering they are reviewed by 50 year olds who don't have a sense of humor. Trust me, if you saw the first Rush Hour and you liked that one this will not disappoint. I just saw this opening night and it was a great sequel to a smash hit. Of course this will also be a smash hit considering it was sold out for 2 showings and I got there an hour early. It has the blend of humor and action put together, the mouth and fighting of Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan. Everything you could want from the first is in the second. Don't pass this up, go see it!
