Summary: Formula movie but mega fun
Review: Don't expect any surprises because Rush Hour 2 is exactly what you expect, and that's fine because it was a lot of fun. Jackie Chang kicks all the bad guys as artfully as usual but in my opinion the movie rides almost entirely on Chris Tucker. There is a hilarious scene at the beginning where Tucker sings a Michael Jackson song in a karaoke bar in Hong Kong. It's worth seeing the movie again just for that scene. The plot line is a bit thin but who cares? I m ready for Rush Hour 3.

Summary: Funny, ignore bad reviews, trust me!
Review: All these other reviewers don't know what they are talking about. First of all, Chris Tucker is funny. Some of the jokes (VERY, VERY little of them weren't laughed at [1-3]) are funny. If you don't like chris tucker then I don't know what to tell you. Second, Jackie chan puts lots of action into his movie which is very good. The chan movies all have about the same plot but the jokes and scenes are what make this movie different from most of them. It is VERY funny and action packed. The women in the movie seem to play a modest role. They are supposed to be the main characters but somehow seem not to (probably because of Chris & Jackie's jokes and scenes). This movie is overall VERY good and VERY funny. It is one of the few where people actually clap at the end because they liked it so much.

Summary: The Funniest and Overall Best Movie of the Year So Far
Review: I was skeptical on this movie at first because sequels usually aren't as funny as the first but was I WRONG!!! This sequel blasted the first one out the water. This movie is so funny and will have u on the floor at the theater rolling and crying. I haven't laughed at a movie so hard in my life. And it actually has a really good storyline and action so at the same time you will be on the edge of your seat. Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker are great and best themselves in this movie. If you are looking for a laugh out loud hysterically then cry, but i'm still on the edge of my seat movie, then this is it. I'm telling you, you won't be disappointed.

Summary: Chris Tucker, you shoud've stopped at Friday
Review: Nobody has the guts to give a movie a bad review, the outtakes were pretty funny, NOTHING ELSE! So predictable. You could set your watch to the fight scenes, about one every 7 minutes. The whole time they were not fighting, I was saying, 6 minutes, 59 seconds, 7 minutes, there's one. It was terrible, and the only reason I gave it 2 stars was because I remember Smokey from Friday. ONLY REASON! Chris Tucker, only play stoner ghetto characters, anything else,...! Peace

Summary: Best summer film of 2001.
Review: Being a fan of the original, I was very excited to go see the sequel. I was worried, however, that the sequel wouldnt live up to the original. But, much to my surprise, Rush Hour 2 surpassed the first one. The chemistry between Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan is great, the jokes are hillarious, and the action keeps you very occupied throughout the movie. If you want to watch a movie where you just want to laugh, Id go see Rush Hour 2. The outakes are hillarious, so be sure and not leave early when the movie is over.

Summary: Funniest Movie of the Summer (?)
Review: If you find Jackie Chan movies funny, don't miss this one! Chris Tucker gets on my nerves, but this time it all works.

Yeah, the plot's dumb -- so who cares? I laughed so hard that my stomach hurt by the end of the movie.

Don Cheadle is terrific in a supporting role as the owner of a "Chinese Soul Food Kitchen"! I'll never be able to watch Chris Tucker again without thinking of him as "7-11" ("His mouth never closes"). I hope they bring the character back for the inevitable RH-3.

Money well spent -- and make sure you stay for the out-takes at the end.

Summary: Better than the first
Review: This is a must see movie. Jackie Chan is, as always, fabulous, and Chris Tucker is very funny. More action, more laughs, more rush. You won't be disapointed. Well worth the price of the ticket. Everyone in the theater had a wonderful time if the laughter was any indication. Don't miss it.

Summary: A waste of Jackie
Review: Even Jackie Chan can't save this film. The plot is dumb, Chris Tucker's character is too thin to take seriously, the bad guys are stupid and the fight scenes are cut too quickly to have the fun of watching Jackie do what he does best. Why does anyone think bad writing will be covered by lots of action and still be successful??
