Review: When I saw the opening scene for this movie I thought it was a sadistic shoot em' up. But I was mistaken. A suspensful plot with exellent Acting. It was sad late in the movie watch the raid for you got attached to the friends if Caster Troy when they seemed good and the police seemed bad. it was an excellent movie. I've seen a lot of movies in my life and this was one of the few I liked. Bravo!

Review: I have seen many action films but this is by far the best. The acting and the action are brilliant and the story roles on at an amazing pace. The shoot out scenes like in Detrixes hideout are amazing and keep you gripped to your seat. Making this the most enjoyable film I've ever seen.

Summary: AN ACTION MOVIE, WITH A PLOT!
Review: In Face/off, John Travolta and Nicolas Cage give the performances of their lives. With great direction by John Woo, and a great story that gives the movie a sense of heart, characters, and amazing action sequences. Primarily, Cage is especially good, not only in his transition from the villianous Castory Troy to dedicated cop Sean Archer, but his fifteen minute stint as Troy alone makes the movie worth watching. Aside from Cage's great acting and Woo's brillian direction, the script was especially good, pooring on more than just one level to the story, like most other action movies floating around. The story takes us immediatly into a tragedy, propels us through an amazing and heart pounding action sequence, then builds up story as Archer is trapped in a maximum security prison wearing the face of the man who killed his son! What a story that is for an action movie in today's society.

Review: Face Off is one of my favorite movies and is definitely in my top five list of best movies of all time. This movie is unique from all others in that the good and bad guys along with their entourage switch roles. Nicholas Cage plays Castor Troy and John Travolta plays Sean Archer. In the beginning you're rooting for Archer and the FBI, but after the "face off" operation the viewer ends up supporting Cage and his band of thugs. It's really weird. This movie is loaded with breath- taking stunts and special effects. The acting was superb and there's a lot of witty comedy that's sprinkled throughout the film. This is a MUST SEE for all action movie buffs.

Review: Nick Cage and John Travolta team up with Chinese director John Woo to make one of the most original action movies in years. Face/Off far surpasses Woo's first big American release, Broken Arrow, and showcases his trademark direction of action sequences, which is a finely choreographed mixture of violence, explosions, testosterone, and ballet. This film is also unique because both Cage and Travolta get to play the hero and the villian. The whole face transplantation surgery thing is a little farfetched, but hey, just look at what doctors have done with Pam Anderson. As long as you're not one of those people who sit in the back of the theater and say, "that could never happen" about something that happens in the first 5 minutes and then refuse to pay attention to the rest of the movie, you'll really enjoy it. I put it on a pedestal along with Lethal Weapon and Die Hard as one of the best action movies ever made.

Review: This is probably John Woo's greatest achievements.Not to mention that this is the best of all his movies.Nice and great actions from Nicholas Cage and John Travolta!And of course, it's produce by Paramount Pictures, my most favourite company.By why it was released internationally by Touchstone Pictures? But, anyway, a job well done John Woo!

Review: In this movie..there is alot of action occuring. Travolta and Cage put on an outstanding show of their acting talents....learning each actors way of talking, behavior and emotions. All in all...this is a great performance and Woo has once again added action to the screen.
