Summary: Great Movie!
Review: I really enjoyed this movie just as much as all of the other Nightmare on Elmstreet films! I own the entire Nightmare on Elmstreet DVD collection (Box Set) and I must say that I love them, and I love Freddy vs. Jason just as much! If you have yet to see the Nightmare on Elmstreet movies, I believe that you should see then ASAP.

I really enjoyed the fact that they brought back some of the sayings and twisted them around a bit. For example, "How sweet, dark meat". This was taken from the line, "How sweet, fresh meat" in on of the earlier Nightmare on Elmstreets. If you know your Nightmare on Elmstreet movies well, you will spot little things in Freddy vs. Jason that will remind you of them. Also, I hear that Jason's side of the film contains similarities as well from the Friday the 13th films. I have not seen any of the Friday the 13th films, so I wouldn't know.

Note: I am NOT revealing the ending of the movie in the following text. I was unhappy with the ending however. The ending seemed a bit to blah to end a good movie like this. Somehow, A Nightmare on Elmstreet's endings where much better than this. You can tell that they didn't put much thought into the ending. It does leave everything open for a sequel however.

Overall, I give this movie four stars for giving tons of suspense, and minus one star for the sad ending.

Summary: Evil v. Evil
Review: When it all comes down to it, Freddy v. Jason is tha king of any one-on-one monster mayhem. The killings in bed, in tha cornfield and in your own patio kinda unleashes all hell in tha little town of Springwood. I've been a Jason fan ever since i saw wha he could do in his other movies, so thers no surprise to why i was rooting for Jason tha whole way. to tell you tha truth, tha whole, talking and stalking kids in their dreams kinda didnt do anything for me as to becoming a fan of Freddy. Tha movie is mor like tha clash of tha classic titans of horror. Over 20 years of killing teens, tha movie is still tha same as ha others, especialy tha drug use nd tha killing of hormone-raging little teens. This movie has som pretty funny and wild scenes, from Jason's dream with tha whole "PING-PONG" Jason and Freddy's trash talking. Wha else can you say about this movie. The killing of (...) little teens, druggies, (...)wha can you hate there. And tha end is gonna twist your mind a little nd your judgement of who really won tha battle. There could be som more scarey moments in tha movie, but besides that, ring tha bell. Freddy v. Jason : WINNER KILLS ALL.(...)

Summary: o....k....
Review: wow.....this was a pretty bad movie. freddy is a rapist, and jason is an insane killer in my opinion. it seemed like the perfect battle. As i watched it though, it turned from good, to not so good. it didnt really scare me that much as say resident evil did. when it went on, the genre of it changed into more of a comedy. the killing was really funny because the blood was fakeas hell which squirted from a little tube, and you knew that the peope who got killed were going to get killed. i did like the dream scenes, they really made it creative. i loved that little freddy creature/slug thing. even so, you could tell what was gonna happen....there wasnt much suspence and deep thinking on how this was going to come to an end and how it all related to each other. maybe this is not the right movie for me. but you should at least rent it for a good laugh(freddy or just the killing itself). if they make a sequel i will go see it. its not the best horror movie like resident evil, but its worthy of the title.

Summary: CLASH OF THE TERROR TITANS!!!
Review: It was inevitable. Two of the biggest horror icons of our time finally meet in a terrifying clash that will satisfy fans of both title characters. In this modern Frankenstein meets the Wolf Man, Freddy is trapped in hell, his once fearsome name all but forgotten completely. He ressurrects Jason to kill a few kids on Elm Street so people will start to fear that Freddy is back: thus giving Freddy the power to return. However, Jason goes wild, and isn't leaving Freddy his share of victims. So, Freddy drags Jason to the dream world for a duel to the "death". The second battle takes place at Crysal Lake, giving each monster a home-court advantage. Both are evenly matched; the real advantage depends on where they fight.
This was a fun movie to watch. The fights are great, and there are plenty of scares. Enjoy, and welcome to MY NIGHTMARE!!!!!

Summary: worn out horror/slasher
Review: I just watched this movie last night with a couple of friends. I was expecting it to be somewhat scary and have awsome special effects. But instead, it was just another cliche horror film. I wasn't scared at all throughout the entire movie, and the special effects were horrible, you got tell that the blood was fake and you can also tell that some of the charecters were suspended on wires. The story is also lacking and sometimes things just appear out of the blue(like when jason is at that rave and that fat drunken kid just grabs a torch out of thin air at sets him on fire). Hell, the only reason I'm giving it 2 stars is beacause sometimes it's so bad it's funny. Mabye I have no right to review this film, because I'm not a huge fan of the Nightmare on Elm Street series, Friday 13th series, or even horror films in general. But I did see the original Friday 13 and Nightmare on Elm street movies, and I have to say that they were classics. This type of spin-off of those two great movies fails to capture the same atmosphere that thay had. Definately a rental at most.

Summary: awesome
Review: I grew up with the Nightmare on Elm Street and Friday the 13th movies. I own every Friday the 13th flick and Jason is my favorite slasher character. I didn't see this movie when it came out in the cinemas because I had low expectations and thought it would suck. Since it came out on DVD I decided to check it out. I must say it is one of the most badass movies I have ever seen. Robert Englund once again gives a great performance of Freddy and Ken gives a great performance as Jason. I loved this movie. The story, killings, and characters were all great. If you are a fan of these two famous slashers, you definitely gotta check this movie out. It kicks ass in almost every aspect.

Summary: Worth the time.
Review: Freddy Vs Jason is worth the time it took for it to get to the screen. Ronny Yu creates the ultimate match between these two horror legends and the results are very bloody. Kudos to Robert England, Ken Kirzinger and the rest of the cast for making this movie a real killer classic.

Summary: Don't sleep a winke Freddy will get you
Review: I heard of this film on the web for a while, and waited 2 long years to see it. I was not dissopionted at all.

I'm a huge Jason fan but never really cared for someone who kills in your sleep. I wanted to see this movie so bad that I couldn't take it anymore, Then it came out. I was very excaited in the theater, when I saw it. The effects were great.
there were a lot of killin sceans and it had HUMOR in it. Of course theres always the horny teens and the Jay smokers but thats what makes a great slasher flim. I thought FvJ was the best crossover ever so far. I loved it when Jason lyed it out on Freddy, and the body count was 16. Thats the highest count in shalsher history.
some people want to know why this movie didn't come out after 10 years of the idea, but the script had to be made. you can't have a movie without a script. And the plot was great.

Buy this movie fast.

Summary: Congrats to Ronny Yu!!!
Review: I have to say it's the best Horror movie made since Ginger Snaps (2000).
This movie has a new story and a awesome new cast, which makes the great. The final battle between Freddy Kruger (Nightmare on Elm Street) and Jason Voorhees is a Raw and Bloody Encounter between the 2 horror legends.
Ronny Yu did a fantastic job assembling the cast and crew for this horror classic. Best of it's kind. Go get it!!!
