Summary: Incredibly fun
Review: I love horror movies. And Freddy and Jason are the patriarchs of modern horror.I haven't had this much fun at a horror movie in ages. Was it scary? No, but then it wasn't meant to be. This is the meeting of two legendary creatures. Freddy vs. Jason manages to remain remarkably loyal to both the Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street series, and you can tell that this clash of the titans was crafted by true fans of both main characters -- especially since it does justice to both. The fights are great fun; the storyline is clever and makes sense in the context of both series; and best of all, you don't need to have seen any other Freddy or Jason movies for this to make sense. (Those who have seen some of the other films, however, will benefit from several in-jokes and references.) Simply put, this movie is schlocky entertainment at its best. Sharpen the machete and break out the popcorn!

Summary: It can ease your stress becuase it is a funny movie
Review: One day, I went to a movie theater to see the movie, Freddy V.S. Jason. It supposed to be a horror, but it turned out more like a comedy, a bloody, disgusting battle between two classical murderers, slaughtering machines: Freddy, a "nightmare" of children; Jason, a deathless killer.
It happened to Freddy was forgotten because his evil power comes from fear but nobody remembered him so that if he want to come back, he must let people recall his name and scary deeds again. Then, he had an idea to wake up Jason fist and let him kill somebody in his old town; successfully, the police did not forget him as he mentioned his name, Freddy, one of the survivors of the first strike of Jason caught, and she began to dream Freddy. And those killing machines, you know, prefer to kill people themselves than see someone else to do it. That is the cause why they fight each other. The most interesting parts of this movie must be the battle of two. At first, Jason was forced to sleep by nervine, a kind of medicine which make people quiet and lost conscious, shot by Freddy as he controls a young man. Soon, Jason kept sleeping and, in the world of dream, none is more powerful than Freddy beating Jason as if he is kicking a football or something. After finding out they are fighting, those young men, bring Jason back to Crystal campsite where Jason drowned when 11. Finally, only two of five young people escaped from the massacre as to refer to those battling murderers that Jason won after killed Freddy, but since Freddy are already dead several years ago, he only lost but may came back as far as there is still someone can remember him.
After seeing this movie, I felt frustrated to the American horror films, not terror anymore-Japanese horror would be scarier. Besides, blood only makes movie-goers feel disgusted not horror at all. So if you like to ease your pressure of your work or school, go, please, see this one. I promise-if you do not fear those bloody scenes-you will have a fun time and good laugh in the movie theater. And, if you are not the type, please do not even try this one. It will fail you as well as fail me.

Review: I watched this movie with my friend. I thought it would keep me up all night. I actually laughed myself to sleep. I think this movie should be under comedy instead of horror. It is still a very good movie. I loved it and I don't really like Friday the Thirteenth or Nightmare on Elm Street. watch this if you need a good laugh.

Review: First, I must say that this is my favorite movie! The Story I thought couldn't of been better. When every teen forgets about Freddy in Springwood, Freddy resurrects Jason to put fear back into Springwood. While Jason starts killing on Elm Street Freddy is pleased because the Parents and Police think its him(Freddy). Then word gets loose about Freddy, so all the teens now know about him. But when Freddy realizes that Jason isnt going to stop killing Freddy gets pissed and then they start the big fight of evil vs. evil. The DVD is very cool it has tons of special features including Deleted Scenes, Trailers, a Music Video, a Jump to a Death feature, and a Making Of & a Special Effects Featurette. There is an Aspect Ratio of 2.35:1 Widescreen and Fullscreen modes and an excellent 5.1 digital sourround sound mode. The picture is perfect and the movie is perfect! If you don't like horror films than you may not like this movie but it also has action at the end! It's pretty much only for Fans of both series or fans of horror films. Now dont just go out and buy it I think it's best you rent it first if you haven't seen it. I really suggest this film to people, but if you dont like it that's not my problem! ENJOY!!!

Summary: Match should not have been even
Review: This film contradicts some of the previous films. When did Freddy, for example, get the power to telekinetically move his enemy and slam him around the room? Also, when Freddy is removed from dreams and taken into the real word, he is supposed to be a regular mortal that ANYBODY can kill. That said, it should have taken Jason less that a second to kill Freddy after he was brought into the real world. Also, if Freddy draws his power from the fear of his victims, how is he able to fight Jason, who thinks of Freddy as nothing but another potential slashee? The battles were entertaining, but I think that certain powers were added and taken away from these characters just to make the match even.

Review: well we all know about jason and about freddy and about michael though this movie isn't about him. this movie sure is the best freddy movie since the final nightmare freddy;s dead (wes cravens new nightmare sucked. and in the friday the thirteen movies only parts 1 2 3 and 4 ruled, since that from part 5 to 10 everything sucked(jason in space, give me a break). so that's why i say it, this movie restores balance back into both series . now let's hope that we soon get a halloween movie that can restore the balance in those series. halloween 6 7 an
