Summary: One hell of a fun movie!
Review: After the dumb Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street sequels,Freddy vs. Jason is a breath of fresh air.Wildly entertaining, scary, and very funny. The best horror film in years. The best thing about this film is how good the 2 killers work together.Freddy is the best at killing people in their sleep and Jason is the best at killing people with some of the most gruesome ways ever.Freddy is the funniest in this movie and Jason is the most brutal killer, not that Freddy is bad or anything. The other cast members including Kelly Rowland are not as good actors as Robert Englund{Freddy} and whoever played Jason but they r still okay. This is also the most hysterical horror movie since Scream 3 in 2000 with outrageous lines by our two killers and the teens trying to stay alive.

Summary: Only thing that could have made this better is Micheal
Review: Even without the greatest slasher of them all Micheal Myers this movie still managed to be one of the best slashers I have ever seen...blood, and psycos it doesn't really get much better than this movie. My only disapointment is the chesty main character kept herself covered through the whole movie. Freddy manages to be disturbingly hilarious in this. He's like the crazy mans Stiffler. Good stuff...

Summary: When Icons Collide
Review: It is safe to say that everyone who has some involvment in watching movies over the past 20 years know who these two are, and by making this film it is a revival of a lost genere, the crossover which Universal was so notoriouse for. Now with this one set it might reopen for other classics.

The story is that Freddy has been forgotten, thus is powerless. So he decides to revive Jason Voorhees and send him to springwood to make it look like Freddy has returned. However when Jason starts to do his own thing Freddy must stop Jason, ultimatly leading to a clash of the Titans style war between the two.

The reason this is so great, besides the fact that Freddy and Jason are in the same flick is that the two Characters are so very different, Freddy is wisecracking smart bum who is very creative, and Jason is a juggernaut that can't be stopped. These two are so different it worked out fine, now if they did say Michael Meyers and Jason it would have sucked because the two are identical, or Freddy vs Pinhead because they are so much alike (actually Freddy vs Pinhead sounds kind of cool). So this is a must own.

Summary: Replaces 'Gone with the Wind' as America's greatest film
Review: In the hundred years or so of American Cinema, there have been epic moments; Gone with the Wind, Cleopatra, True Grit, Star Wars, Dr. Zivago, etc... Well now we can add a new film to the list of 'Greatest of the Great'......Freddy Vs. Jason!

The professionalism of acting, the firm hand of the director, the special effects wizards, and of course Ken and Robert can all be proud. They really came through.

I could go on forever how this was the greatest movie ever made (it is). But I will stick with just one subject before this review becomes 500 pages of praise. I will give praise to Ken who played the part of Jason Voorhees.

Never before has Jason played a part like this. He's almost the good guy, almost. To express such emotion while wearing a mask and never uttering a line is the ultimate challange to an actor. But with the turn of the head, the puppy dog eye, and the heroic stand against Freddy, Jason did well. Well beyond what we all thought he could.

Jason is more than a killing machine wearing a hockey mask. He is each and every one of us. Yes, Jason lives in us all, and we all wish we were him. Remember the abusive boyfriend in the beginning of the movie? Words can hurt. Jason knows this, he takes care of the boyfriend as best he can. He stabs him with a machette about 15 times then folds him in half backwards. Brilliant.

Or take the party out in the cornfield. Underage drinking, wanton lust, use of illegal drugs. What parent wouldn't want Jason to be a chaparone? He broke up that party quicker than you can say "That was one p*ssed off goalie". Jason is truly the champion of wholesome upbringing and virginity. Sin is the weed and Jason is the gardener.

And the final fight with Freddy? Sure Freddy can beat anyone in their dreams, but we can do anything in our dreams. Win our girl, have wealth and fame, be handsome or beautiful. But when we wake up, reality takes over and we drudge on with our lives.

Three times in the theater I saw this movie, and everytime it happened. When Freddy realizes he is in the real world, he turns around with fright on his face. Jason slowly rises and is ready to kick butt. The audience screamed, howled, and cheered. Cheering for Jason? My word, I never thought I'd see the day.

Yes friends, believe the hype. Never a Jason or Freddy fan you say? Watch this movie, you'll be on eBay in no time buying up every Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm street movie you can find.

Summary: Showdown of the Century!
Review: Freddy Krueger Vs. Jason Voorhees! Double yes! I have been dreaming of the day that these two immortals would battle it out to be the supreme being! The count is countless as Jason slashes through Elm Street and folds a bed with a man on top of it! It was the ultimate best when Freddy possessed that young man in the mental hospital and Jason came to cut that stuff in half! Then the showdown of the millennium takes an astonishing twenty minutes at Camp Crystal Lake! "Freddy Vs. Jason" is the most profound piece of work I have ever seen!

Summary: Trust Me, Fans, You WANT To See This One!!!
Review: Freddy Krueger, the child-molesting dream-invading monster, has been long dead and forgotten by the citizens of Springwood. Ever eager to escape the bowels of hell and regain his fearsome hold over the children of Elm Street, Freddy devises a fiendish plot that will re-establish his name and make him more powerful than he's ever been. He resurrects Jason Voorhees, the indestructible hockey-masked killer from the "Friday the 13th" films, posing as his deceased mother and sending him on an unprecedented rampage.

But Jason doesn't stop. He keeps right on going, and Freddy soon realizes the horrendous mistake he's made. And when Jason finally puts two and two together and understands that he's been Freddy's puppet all along, well, you do the math.

This is a story that never strives to be any more than what it is, a fun full-blooded(and I mean GORY)in your face roller-coaster ride of a horror film! Director Ronny Yu has really done an excellent job with this! Freddy is darker and more mean-spirited here than he's been in any of the last few "Nightmare" movies, and Ken Kirzinger's Jason more than makes up for the absence of series regular, Kane Hodder. The acting may not be much, but then when has it ever been? Do we honestly go to these types of films for their Oscar-worthy portrayals? I know I certainly don't. I went to witness a knock-down dragout between two of today's biggest terror titans, and that's exactly what I got! Believe me when I tell you, you DO NOT want to miss the closing battle between these two monsters. They very literally tear each other to pieces!

This is far and away the best sequel either franchise has seen in many long years. And, from a Jason fan's personal standpoint, this film will almost make you forget the travesty that was "Jason X" was ever made. It takes the characters of Jason and Freddy back to their roots where they belong and very nearly brought a nostalgic tear to my eye. Thank you so very much, Mr. Yu. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Summary: Wow.
Review: Wow. IF you guys don't publish my review, I don't know what you are thinking because apparently it looks like a 5yo with poor writing skills can type and get published on this websight. That long poorly written review was horrible, "I herd the DVD will be good" Wow. This movie was incredibly tiresome and dull. I knew from the first moment when they showed us the big fake silicone boobs that it was all over, its a return to the schlock of the 1980s where naked, nubile teens and mindless splatterpunk is the agenda of the day. I expected a lot more and it was a great waste of talent on that one girl who gets slashed near the beginning, the girl From Ginger Snaps who I think is a really good actress so of course they waste her right away and left us with Dumb and Dumber and more Retarded actors like Destiny's Child who manages to call Freddy a homophobic slur near the end of the movie, inspiring laughs in the theater and showing us that we're back to the Big Boy's Club of blood and breasts again in the horror genre. After seeing films like Ginger Snaps and Donnie Darko, I realized that horror can be so much better than this. Whoever wrote this script needs a brain transplant.

Summary: Best summer film of 03
Review: I saw this movie in theatres and loved it i thought it was extremely well done and right then i knew i had to get it on DvD when it was finally released. I only had a few bones to pick and those were mostly about jason. Kane Hodder didnt play him, and Ken kizinger well he moved to fast for jason he made jason look like he was at a medium walking pace through the whole thing. Jason is supposed to be a stalking killing machine not a marathon jogger. Other than that it was probably one of the best films i saw all summer. I already pre-ordered my copy of the DvD and i would definetly recommend this film to hard core fans of both horror icons, even if your not big in this kinda of movie you will get alot of pleasure out of seeing it.
