Summary: MOST DISTURB MOVIE EVER MADE!!!
Review: What can I say about Stacy, it most disturbed movie ever made, but I really enjoyed this movie. I found this movie to be like a bad car accident you just cannot resist watching this movie. I mean one point one character says that he is love with one the Stacies, and want to run away with her. And at one point they say that Stacies and men end up have offspring, which is so wrong on many levels I mean (...) is messed up.
I like the little Easter egg within this movie the Romeos, the army that hunts the Stacies, which in tribute to horror legend George Romero, and The Bruce Campbell right hand saws, which is reference to Bruce Campbell's famous role as Ashley (Ash) J. Williams.
I would have say this film is guilt little pleasure (...)

Summary: gore-fest or bore-fest?
Review: When researching this film I had a hard time finding a trailer to view online, now I know why.

This movie reeks, not just of rotting zombie flesh but from the indecipherable plot and slow moving story line. To begin with the zombies are sub-par. Though there is plenty of gore, the stumbling or shuffling zombie walk is excruciating in this movie. Its not like in Romero's film in which the motion of the zombies is somewhat believable. Here it is just painful to watch. Secondly, the story really has little to do with the zombies. There is only one 'rampage' scene in the film and it leaves a lot to be desired.

"Stacy" tries to be campy, but succeeds only with extremely poor camera work. The music is absolutely horrendous. It adds nothing to the action, and actually severely detracts from it. The whole thing comes off like a Japanese soap opera that just happens to contain zombie girls. There are countless homage to Evil dead, and the films of Romero, but this thing has more in common with 'Dead Alive" than the dead trilogy.

Be warned: This is a VERY Japanese movie! The themes expressed in it can only truly be appreciated by someone who has an intimate understanding of Japanese culture, specifically "Moe". Primarily the movie tries to tackle the fetishsized ideal of the innocent Japanese schoolgirl and its relation to the prurient interests of men, combined with the girl's longing for love. It fails miserably.

If you are looking for a Japanese take on the Zombie genre, with some humor, but that has enjoyable zombie action then get "Wild Zero". If you like tons of unneeded gore, combined with poor production values then by all means get "Stacy".
