Summary: Wallace and Gromit -DVD- 3 great episodes
Review: what a wonderfull DVD for everyone(adults&kids). Contains 3 of the academy award winning short episodes and some great extras. The quality on this DVD is so crystal clear both in sound and picture. Many can't put their finger on why this series is so great, but personally I think its amazingly creative and the characters come alive with great personality.

this is a must for any DVD collection. The replay value is great(watch it again and again) and its great on a rainy day. The extra features include creators commentary, behind the scenes creation stuff and some silent shorts of the creators early works. I have to admit that some of the early silent works arent fun to watch, but its interesting to see how wallace and gromit came to be if your a real fan

Review: Ah, this DVD made me smile from the moment I started watching. I liked the charm of Chicken Run, but this is even better. Combination of oddball couple with English sense of humor, you will see why this short films won Oscar.
Great, I am already waiting for Wallce and Gromit feature film due in 2005.

Review: This was a gift my kids picked out for their Grandpa. He loves Wallace and Gromit. If his glee was any indication, and I think it is, this DVD is excellent, filled with some very funny stuff!

Summary: A great DVD that leaves you wanting more
Review: I was introduced to Wallace and Gromit a few years ago when my brother borrowed the VHS tapes from our cousin. I loved them immediately, and when I found this DVD on sale, I snapped it up.

For the uninitiated, Wallace is a bumbling but good-hearted inventor whose creations probably wouldn't work as well as they do if not for the intervention of his genius dog, Gromit. This DVD collects their first three adventures -- "A Grand Day Out" (in which they travel to the moon because they're out of cheese), "The Wrong Trousers" (in which they get caught up in a jewel heist) and "A Close Shave" (in which they encounter a sheep-stealing cyborg and Wallace falls in love). The latter two both won Academy Awards for best animated short.

The DVD has wonderful extras -- including a commentary track with the creator and director, Nick Park, that really enlightens you as to how these characters developed. You learn tidbits like why Gromit doesn't talk, how long it took to make "A Grand Day Out" and how some of the simpler animation tricks worked.

Overall, it's a good little package for anyone who digs the cartoons, although it just leaves you craving more. I can't wait for the full-length Wallace and Gromit feature Park is working on.

Summary: From pithy to witty to absolutely hilarious
Review: The features are each fantastic, from the very concept to the reality. Ideas like the invention of automated trousers, made just to help in window-washing, and a space shuttle, made just to retrieve cheese, and both seemingly made from items just found about the house, leave me filled with nothing but wonder. Watching Gromit trying to lay track fast enough to direct the electric train he's riding leaves me in stitches.

It's something of a cliche, now, but this is honestly a dvd that can be enjoyed, and loved, by children of all ages...

Summary: Hilarious and adorable videos for any age
Review: Wallace and Gromit our the adorable adventures of a man and his dog. Gromit the dog is smarter than Wallace which is hilarious. In The Wrong Trousers, Wallace gets Gromit a pair of electronic trousers. He also rents out Gromit's room to a penguin who Gromit becomes jealous of. In A Grand Day Out, Wallace and Gromit decide to make a rocket ship to fly to the moon when they run out of cheese. In A Close Shave, Wallace falls in love with Wendelin when He's cleaning her windows. She has invented a machine that shears sheep and makes sweaters. But Wendelin's dog has other plans for the sheep. I have always loved claymation. I have cousins under the age of five who loved these films and my aunts, uncles, and parents loved them too. I have fallen in love with Wallace and Gromit and I know You will too!
