Summary: Not that bad... really!
Review: Okay this movie was pretty bad, but then again we Westerners don't get much of the underlying text to Asian movies anyway!

The best thing about this movie was the acrobatics of the hero. He was really skillful and pulled off the physical comedy well. Not one I'd recommend running and out and buying but it's definitely a rental for those who appreciate the physical skill of the martial artists.

Summary: A Diamond In The Rough... but still not that great....
Review: The quality of the film itself is terrible. It is in a full screen format, and often the fight scenes are blurry and it is hard to catch any of the action because of this. While this improves later on, the low sound and lines in the picture make it very difficult to enjoy this film. The story line is a bit vague, but with enough attention you can figure out that it is somewhat of a more violent version of "Snake In The Eagle's Shadow" as far as the plot. So where does my title "Diamond In The Rough" come from? Quite simple. While the fighters are not at all as graceful, as say, the Venoms, the choreography is excellent, there are some amazing acrobatic stunts in this film, hilarious scenes reminiscent of Jackie Chan and Phillip Kwok, and some really brutal and gritty battle scenes. There are no handsome, shirtless warriors in this film- the movie is full of raw, real characters who are often quite filthy and unattractive, this is a very realistically filmed movie. You'll find none of the chivalrous studs that have endeared the Venoms films to us, and this also makes the film hard to view.Alongside the excellent choreography, I should note that the training sequences are quite unique, including one where the Master repeatedly kicks his student down a hill, onto a bed of snakes...

Summary: major cheese
Review: this could easily be the worst movie I've seen in my life. There is absolutely no story behind this and i's just destroy, destroy, and destroy, I nearly fell asleep when I watched this movie... do yourself a favor and don't buy this.
