Summary: I hated this movie
Review: After watching Moments, the behind the scenes documentary; I was intrigued. Then I actually saw the film. I absolutely hated this film! It was a complete waste of film, and my time. Unfortunately, it was screened during a local Gay and Lesbian film festival, so many other folk wasted their time as well. I can honestly say that a full house in a three hundred seat movie theatre booed during the closing credits.

Summary: Great casting, but WAY TOO MUCH TALKING!!!
Review: I really liked the casting of Trisha Todd and Karen Trumbo as the two women who eventually fall for eachother, but WHY DID IT TAKE SO FREAKING LONG?!! That is to say, this movie really didn't need the endless soap opera. They were clearly attracted to one another long before the sexual encounter at the end! On the positive side, they really were hot together, even when it just involved slow-dancing! The love-scene seemed awfully short to me after enduring all that chatter, but it was still satisfying to finally see them in eachother's arms!

Summary: A lesbian look at real people.
Review: Moments... allowed me to venture 'behind the scenes' in this great movie. Watching these women work and play on a personal level was GREAT! The plot could have been a little more exciting, but hey, sometimes life's like that. I'm waiting for the sequal

Summary: One worth watching the first time.
Review: This movie dragged too often at times. The content of the movie was good. The actress that played Noelle was GREAT!!!! Could of had a better Claire.

Summary: a wonderful coming- to - terms lesbisn romance
Review: A great movie for the woman just who thinks that she is a lesbian, or for an audience who is interested in a lesbian "Gone With The Wind."...the coming out issues are intriquingly true. Although to some the missing elements of women of color and gay rights is ommitted, the story still envelops all women...in all communities. The excessive drinking of the Claire character is a reminder of the writer/director Nicole Conns past life, and is necessary to show for the fact that this is the way Claire deals with her unhappiness in life. Great scenery, great soundtrack, and above all, a cast that became a family on the set while filming the movie. I had the pleasure of meeting Nicole Conn several years ago, and she is a delightfully charasmatic, strong lesbian that has really grown due to this movie. It allowed her to throw away any demons she had in her closet, so to speak, and focus on the main issue, which was love: sheer and utter love. A great movie. Keep! up the good work Nicole!! END

Summary: Endearing, Enduring but with a Score to die for
Review: I rented this movie at a poinent time in my life. Second year of marriage and having issues. I watched it alone and cried at the ending....maybe just making connections with a "love story ending." But it was rather funny hearing blatently "serious" lines uttered with a blah-ze delivery. I laughed a lot. And seeing Trisha Todd's dream sequence fantasy of seducing a man at a dance club was rather silly...and over repetative. The music was however fantastic and the scenery was really complimentary. As a writer myself, I have never uttered the words "get out of my cabin...I'm on a roll here." And you never see her writing, just chain smoking, drinking in bars and hooking up with guys that aren't that much to look at other than a pretty face with a blank stare! Also seeing Trisha's character, Claire, using million dollar words to explain "her style of writing" was humorous to say the least...I don't know about you but verbiage...get's butchered in this film..But it's a movie that I call one of my little "secret obsessions." Watch it for fun, take it tongue in cheek and just enjoy the music. My gay friends do think it's as funny as I do and then we throw in, "Kissing Jessica Stein" and "It's in the Water" as follow ups...cute, fun and there you go.

Summary: Amazing!
Review: I am really surprised that the reviews are so bad!! Okay, some of the conversations do not have much sense (like when talking about relationships between men and women) but the story is not about these relationships its about INTIMACY VS SEX. Its about how each person looks for intimacy in different ways..Its about discovering your sexual orientation...Its about fear...Its about love...Its about music..
Its this kind of film that makes you think.
And I find it perfectly describes the way in which two women approach each other..Its so real, the way that they look at each other, the way they try to get near but are afraid to get hurt, the seduction...Its so good!
I just find its one of the best films ive ever seen! Low budget, great story, great acting!

Summary: Good love scenes, bad dialogue.
Review: Writing sucked. One of the main ideas expressed in this film is the theory that men and women can't truly communicate with each other. Such hogwash.

The only thing that redeems this movie is the love scenes between the two women. Truly hot. If only they could have just done love scenes and not talked...

Rent before you buy.
