Summary: One of the greatest films.. Too bad about the subtitles.
Review: After seeing about 10 films which claimed to be as funny, violent and revolutionary as Pulp Fiction, but being dissapointed each time I wasn't expecting too much from this one. To my big surprise I was totally blown away by this movie... what a ride. I couldn't stop laughing from beginning to end. This movie has some of the wickedest humour around. The cinematography was outstanding, even topping Trainspotting, that other gem from the UK.

ONE COMPLAINT : Why haven't they put any subtitles on this DVD (except bloody French). I'm pretty good at English, but some of the accents are pretty hard to understand. I feel that Americans will have great trouble following some of the speedy conversations.

CONCLUSION : If you haven't seen this and know how to speak your English, you HAVE TO BUY this one.

Summary: Dig deep in your sky rockets and buy this DVD
Review: Having lived in the US during this films cinema release I missed it. So when I went back home to the UK for a couple of weeks, one of the first things I did was get a 4-pack of Stella and the DVD of this _great_ film.

The film is brilliant, from the 'it's a deal, it's a steal, it's sale-of-the-f**king-century' moment to Vinny telling his son they are now in the money lending business. The film is non stop, when there is no action it's cos there is a laugh on the screen. Mind you the golf scene was even funny in a black-comedy kind of a way =)

Enuff said, get ya claires on, put a score in ya sky rocket, get in ya jam and buy this DVD.

And for the US readers, put your shoes on, put 20 dollars in your pocket, get in your car and buy this DVD (course you can just order form amazon.com ;o)

Summary: Fast paced entertainment with a serious soundtrack !
Review: I was hooked from from the first digit change on my DVD player! The plot is very well executed and slick. The actors are well known and not known which helps as you sit and think...."I know that guy, from somewhere!" If you have a Dolby Digital amp, crank it up and listen to a cracking sound track which mixes with the action so well (as well as the golfing scene!) If you wish to know the true life of London's east end, watch this. Us English don't all drink tea and watch our football team struggle!

Summary: A nice surprise
Review: Being a teenager, I decided to go to this movie because of its name. What I got in return was one of the most funny, quirky, offbeat movies I have ever seen. All the characters are engaging and colorful, and the plot, while starting out relatively shallow, quickly plunges deep into a witty, comedic circus of Pulp Fiction-esque proportions. The difference between this and Pulp Fiction is that this film is smarter, funnier, and over all, done better.

Summary: British cinema at its best....
Review: This is probably the best comedy crime caper you'll ever see, assuming you can catch all the humour. I'm a Londoner living in the US, but non-Brits (and non-Londoners to a certain extent) be warned, much of the best humour will pass you by. Which is a real shame as this film is a gem and will be wasted on people who don't catch some of the humour. Very clever and well acted, you'll want to see this one again and again. I watched it twice back to back when I bought the DVD (from the UK). Forget reservoir dogs, forget anything with Hugh Grant, he's a wimpy tosser. This is London, and this is the best British movie you'll ever see.

Summary: Great movie but poor DVD
Review: I first saw this movie on VHS and I loved it. Naturally as soon as I saw it on DVD I got it (the regeon 2 version). Unfortunately there were no extras besides a small interview and worst of all the sides of the picture was cut even on a widescreen TV. I'm trading mine for the VHS version>

Summary: Surpisingly, one of the best comedies I've ever seen!
Review: I was shocked at how often I laughed during the movie. From start to finish, this movie is interesting, thrilling and hilarious. It's like Pulp Fiction but less violent, funnier, and with a superior plot. Don't miss it!

Summary: Amazing writing and Cinamatography

Summary: If you're American... Watch This! We all have.
Review: I cannot stress enough the quality of this film. It takes a cast of relatively unknown actors(including a vicious football... sorry, SOCCER player) and stylishly arranges them into the best British film of the decade. Any rumours you may have heard about this film being good are all true. Any rumours you may have heard about this film being rubbish are false. Get hold of a copy of this film, in fact, get hold of two copies of this film, 'cos you'll wear out the first one.
