Summary: Fox special did a better job
Review: In order to understand the images and footage shot you need to know the works of von Braun and what he did for Germany, Eisenhower during the cold war, Kennedy's race for space and Nixon's administration but mostly with the USSR achievments in space exploration. A more thorough explanation of the Van Allen Radiation Belts other than its definition would have been better. No one is interviewed in this documentary giving it a lack of credibility. The films website www.moonmovie.com is more informative. I still don't understand why the producer chose Kennedy's assasination (1963) as the ending to the film of an event that occurred in (1969)? Fox did a much better job in its presentation. I purchased this DVD because of reading the chat section of the Fox website. Doing a search on the Net will give you better information than what is presesnted here. Maybe Fox will release the tape and make it available like they do their Cops series and you'll rent a copy. However, if you pay more than $1 for the rental, you paid too much.

Summary: This Exposes the Truth
Review: I watched this video after the Fox Special on the Moon Conspiracy and am now convinced that NASA faked the moon missions. A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Moon proves that it would have been impossible for NASA to have made it all the way to the moon. There is no way to get through the Van Allen Radiation Belts. We have to remember that this is the same Government organization that could not properly aim the Hubble Telescope without the aid of Space Shuttle astronauts, but expects us to believe that 32 years ago, on their first attempt, NASA was able to launch astronauts into space, put a man on the moon, and bring him back to earth safely. Yea Right! This movie explains why so many of the photos have diverging shadows. Also, it raises the question, why weren't there any stars visible in ANY of the moon pictures. You need to get this movie before it is banned!

Review: This "documentary" is pure trash. The lack of intellectual sophistication that is required to buy into this particular conspiracy theory is comparable to that of an adult who insists that the "Tooth Fairy" and "Santa Claus" indeed come to visit their homes. Some people might question the sanity of anyone who beleives any of the outrageous and illogical claims in "A Funny Thing Happened On the way to the Moon". I don't question their sanity, but I do question the quality of their educational background and thought processes. Some degree of intellectual impairment is definitely a prerequisite for trusting this moon hoax "argument".This moon landing "hoax phenomena" is seemingly just another manifestation our mysterious and paranoid human ways! I think that this distrusting behavior is possibly attributable to some inherited instinctive survival engram that overpowers some individuals more than others. Some folks apparently cannot accept radical paradigm altering events, sudden change, or any concept that they have not directly experienced. To quote a friend who is similarly ouraged at this faulty production: If you feel shaky on the facts about the Apollo program, the following sites offer a wealth of knowledge, crosslinks and just plain common sense in debunking the claims made by this and other shoddy productions: ...END

Review: After seeing this movie, I totally questioned the Governments involvemnet in many other cases, like the existance of aleins and other so-called "hoaxes". This documentary was excellent and I think everyone should know about how dirty our Government is to the people...

Summary: I'm Totally Convinced!
Review: Before I saw "A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Moon" I would have never gone along with this whole NASA hoax theory, but this video has totally changed the way I view history, NASA & our Government! The evidence presented is unlike any other out on the market. I've probably watched the tape 20 times to make sure that I haven't missed anything. I highly recommend it!

Review: What a masterpiece! This video contains the most compelling piece of evidence that NASA faked the moon landing that I've ever seen. I've always been a skeptic of all conspiracy theorists, but this is something you definitely have to see to believe! If you don't own a copy - you really should buy one. Review: I had never given this topic much thought until I saw the special on FOX and I immediately got on the web to see what other resources were avaialable. "A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Moon" caught my attention immediately and I couldn't wait to purchase a copy! This was definitely one of the most interesting and insightful video presentations that I have ever witnessed and I know that this is going to make quite an impact on society as we know it! I am a college professor and not easily persuaded with "propaganda" pieces and I do not normally jump on the bandwagon of "conspiracy theories." This time, however, this compelling evidence was too much to ignore. The video presents all of the evidence and facts, but still respects viewers enough to allow you to draw your own conclusions based on what you've seen. BRAVO!!!!!!! This is a WINNER!

Review: This movie is about how NASA supposedly faked the moon landings. It is full of terrible "evidence" that a child can disprove. It obviously faked many of the videos themselves and claimed them to be made by NASA. If NASA faked the Apollo program then why do they still provide the photos taken on the moon on their website for everyone in the world to see? If they were proof of a hoax the photos would have been destroyed, not posted to the web.

Review: This movie is complete garbage. The only reason I gave it 1 star is because you can't give it zero stars! Every single piece of "evidence" that the moon landings were faked can be easily proven wrong. These hoax theories only distort history, and anyone with a brain knows the moon landings really happened. If the photos taken on the moon show proof the landings were faked then why does NASA still provide the photos free on their websites? If they had proof of a hoax the photos would have been destroyed, not posted on the web for the world to see.

Review: This is a most facinating video. I generally hate so-called documentaries because they invariably have some agenda to move forward, or some establishment crock to reinforce like the war distortions etc. However, in "A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Moon" it appears to me that the the only agenda the director has is a desire for truth and exposing government lies. Job well done! I look forward to seeing more of Sibrel's work.
