Summary: "Antz" is undoubtedly superior to "A Bug's Life."
Review: My first thought after renting and watching Antz was, I wish I had seen this at the theater rather than A Bug's Life. Antz has realistic animation with life in it. The characters are funny and a lot more interesting. It has a good story, and is versatile in its scenery, environments, and character development. I also like that the insects all had six legs. I prefer my antz anatomically correct. A Bug's Life was too unoriginal, uninteresting, and too cute. Antz is a great movie for all ages, and I strongly reccomend it. (And buy the DVD, not the tape. It is much more clear, colorful, and is full of enjoyable extra features.)

Review: First off, the idea for ANTZ was not stolen. The idea is years old and they are completely different movies. Second off, PDI does not use ANY off the shelf software. They write their own. It seems that you know very little about CG, because it does not show.

Review: this movie I liked better between the two beacause the adults and children to relate to it. It was better in animation ,story etcc. With A bug's life , I felt it was too "candy coated'. Dont bother with A bug's life . watch antz instead !!! it's great ,awesome and terrific!!

Review: i tore into my dvd this morning, the moment it arrived, and i was enchanted! the colors, on dvd, were brilliant-the ac3 digital sound was incredible! woddy allen gives one of his best performances in years, and even sly can be clearly understood. all in all, a remarkable achievement from the dreamworks factory again. it's awesome fun and so fast moving you will wonder where the minutes went. a true delight from start to finish, i strongly recommend it for all viewers-too darn good just for the kids.

Review: I really liked the movie Antz because you got to feel like you were one too. My favorite part was when Zi and the princess came to insectopia. Even though it was all garbage to them it was heaven.

Review: Fun, funny and original! Antz is super. Certainly good for children with light humor and cool effects. Don't worry about the violence. Its minor ... you see more in a Looney Tunes feature, or even main stream Disney. But this movie reeally plays better to adults ... Woody Allen fans mainly. The nebish antihero aka anti-ant, is vintage Woody, or the funny not yet serious Woody for you non WA fans. Think of Woody in Annie Hall or Love and Death. The colrs are great. The DVD is LOADED with extra features. A must own for dvd fans ... a reference disc to show your friends!!

Summary: It's an ant-told-story based on real human nature.
Review: I think this is extremely funny, and the 3-d type is really good. It's about an ant named "Z" who doesn't want to be a worker ant and so on. The story is really complicated, but how they weaved the story together really gives it "pizaz' and makes you want to see more. But don't get confused between "A Bugs Life", because that was worse. I think this is a good movie for the whole family. Some humor may only be fit for grown-ups, but that's for you to decide, so go see it!

Review: I am really glad to see how quickly computer animation is improving, and Antz definately is ahead of their time. It's great that somone remembered animation can be for adults too!

Review: This movie was made for adults. It is NOT a kid's movie, nor was it intended to be one, if you want a silly kid's movie, get A Bug's Life. If you want a funny, beautiful, thoughtful movie with some incredible animation, GET ANTZ!
