Summary: not the worse, though not remotely decent
Review: hmm....i don't know why so many people like this show. It isn't the worse anime, but it isn't even decent. i don't see how trigun is funny. It just has ALOT of lame jokes in it. If your looking for something funny, you don't have to put up with this, just go watch simpsons. watching Gary Coleman trying to run for govenor is funnier than trigun. trigun is about a guy with a gun so you would expect alot of action right? there is only a little action cuz the main character doesn't kill anyone and he always survives the impossible. The ending sucks because it comes so sudden and and the final battle is short and pointless. I'd recommend this if you are a kid 12 or under, but for anyone older, get a life don't waste money on this. It's not even worth the plastic that it is on.

Summary: Best anime out there
Review: Trigun is one of the best anime out there! When I began watching the series, I became glued and could not stop watching it. Trigun will make you laugh and make you cry. What is Trigun about? Trigun is about a legendary gunman named Vash the Stampede. Vash is a nice guy, but everyone tries to kill him. He has been known to destroy many cities down into rubble, but has not killed a single soul. The first few episodes may seem to have no storyline.. but dont let that fool you! The beginning episodes are just there to show you the general personality of the characters. As you get deeper into the series, it becomes more serious and very interesting. I couldnt stop watching it. I own this boxed set and keep watching it over and over again. I reccomend that you buy this series--you won't regret it. Be prepared to be glued to you TV.

Summary: The best anime I've had the privilige to experience.
Review: The story follows Vash the stampede, a mysterious gunslinger who hates pain. He is highly heroic, but a total dolt. The series starts off very very funny, but quickly becomes serious later on.

This is a truly phenomenal anime, and I don't want to spoil the story for you. To quote a friend "I'm so glad you have the boxed set, if I had to wait a week to watch each episode on TV I'd go nuts. ..."

Me and my friends sometimes pop it in, and watch the series straight through (all 26 episodes,) it's just that good.

If you have the money, get it.

Summary: A Better Anime is Nonexistant!!!
Review: Trigun is a well-mixed blend of drama, action, romance, and sci-fi elements. The story focuses on Vash, a "plant" android that is the best gunman on the planet. Years after Earth's resources have dried up, humans have moved onto a desert planet with little water and strange "worms." In attempt to spread out across the universe, humans created the Seed Project, where they send androids (super beings) to distant planets. Vash, one of the few survivors from the crash of a Seed Project spaceship has a bounty on his head of 60 billion double-dollars (humans lost technology, so dollars becomes double dollars) for destroying two large cities. Unknown to authorities, Vash was under the control of his twisted brother's lackey. Vash - under influence of his mother-figure, Rem's teaching- vowed never to kill. Will his brother somehow get Vash to go against his teaching and whipe out humanity?

Anyways, still more plot...

Two girls from an insurance company who want to make him stop destroying things meet him, but he was everything they didn't expect from the renowned "Vash the Stampede." But as Meryl and Millie get closer, they realize that Vash is more than meets the eye. As it gets more dangerous to be around Vash, Meryl and Millie have to make a choice. Do they follow him and risk their lives, or do they leave him and spare themselves? As they both find out, the choice is harder than it sounds.

Summary: Great Amime!!!
Review: Trigun is a great anime for anyone. It has lots of funny scenes, and some sad ones that could make you cry...I think the storyline is great, even though Vash is a stubborn character.
Be careful if you buy the imported anime. I got the one that was imported from Hong kong that had some problems. The sound and picture are very nice and clear. But the subtitles have some typos, and in one epdisode, the subtitles were missing for a few minutes. But it really wasn't a problem for me.
Despite that I LOVED this anime!

Summary: Excellent Anime!
Review: This Anime Series is just so good, it makes me wanna cry ATM, though, it's not the Best Anime Seires, it's very close to being the Best, because in my top 5 Favorite Anime Series' it is in 3rd, but just barely, Outlaw Star beats it just by a little for 2nd. I will tell you my top 5 Favorite Anime: 1-Cowboy Bebop, 2-Outlaw Star, 3-Trigun, Lupin the 3rd, and the Big-O, 4-Rurouni Kenshin, FLCL, and His and Her Circumstances, 5-Neon Genesis Evangelion. All of the Best Anime Shows ever, though, I like a few more Series'. Anyway, Trigun is absolutely stunning, and superb in each and every way! And I suggest you be 13 and up to watch Trigun, and I'll tell you why. Rated 13 + for: Violene, Blood, Profanity, and some Sexual Situations. You must be Mature to enjoy this Anime Series, actually to some extent, this Series is lighthearted and Goofy in the beginning, then it get's really serious, and so Dramatic, and in Episode 23 I believe it is, I cry.

Summary: I'm sooooo hungry
Review: Trigun is a just plain fun series to watch. There most certainly is a serious side to this anime as there almost always is in a good anime series. The characters are very likeable and very entertaining. There is a little love story, comedy, drama, action, everything you could really want. I love this boxed set, I have it and watch it over and over again sometimes the whole series when I find the time or just my favorite episodes. The point is this isn't the kind of series you watch once and think that was great then watch it collect dust on some shelf in your house. In my opinion that definately makes this worth the money.

I'd say this series could be watched by kids because there isn't anything outstandingly graphic or explicit but there is some violence/blood. I pretty well always say the same thing about kids and whatnot, the point is, kids won't understand what makes most good anime series good so while they can watch it there isn't much point to it.

Summary: Trigun - A Fine Anime
Review: This show caught me totally off guard. I look at the cover of the first DVD and see this tough guy who I would never mess with ever. What I view is the goofiest anime protagonist in recent memory. I fell in love with this show after the first few minutes. The first and last halves of this show are very different.

The first half is happy-go-lucky character development with white-knuckled action scenes and change-your-underwear comedy. Vash has a misadventure in each episode. Most episodes are stand alone in the first half, but each episode affects the plot. Even if the show kept up this pace for the entire 26 episodes, I still would have loved it.

Alas, about halfway thorugh, the show take a very serious turn. Vash isn't so goofy anymore. His mysterious past becomes known. The two halves are almost completely different shows. As much as I loved the first half, I love the second half even more! Vash juggles the desire for revenge with his his desire for "love and peace." The moral dilemmas of the second half are phenomenal. The episodes are no longer independent. Each one picks up where the last one left off, making for a more involved story that will keep you on the edge of your seat and blow you away by the end. This show seriously has it all.

The animation is much better than most. It is not perfect, but it does what it needs to and it does it very well. Duels are done fluidly and never fail to disappoint. Every now and then, there is some SD (especially in the beginning) which adds to the general insanity of the scenes.

The music is awesome! I like it better than Cowboy Bebop's. The theme song is one of my favorites ever. The background music has this really laid-back slide guitar which adds to the whole western atmosphere. No song is out of place or is distracting to what is going on in the show. Excellent all around.

Guess what? The dub rules! No flat voices and they all match the characters! The translation is very accurate, too. I have seen Trigun subbed and dubbed and prefer the dubbed version (although the subbed version isn't bad by any means).

I seriously cannot recommended this show enough. It has something for everyone. There are a bunch of anime that I enjoy, but few change the way I actually think. Trigun made me look at my own morals and view of life. Trigun truly made an impact on me. Do yourself a favor and pick up the box set. You will not be disappointed.
