Summary: Awsome Anime
Review: Genorator Gawl is a story of 3 teenagers who jump back in time to Sept. 2007 and try and save the world from "dark generators"(those are the bad guys), only problem is they were supposed to jump a year earlier. The 3 characters are: Gawl (he's the main character and has the power of generating), Koji(he's kinda the leader of the of the operation), and Ryo(he's kinda the smart guy and his name's pronounced Ro). Also there's a girl called Masami and another called Natsumi(they're friends of Gawl, Koji, and Ro). I think that generator gawl is an awsome anime saga and that it is hilarious! There's this 1 part in the 2nd episode were Gawl is trying to catch a butterfly in his hands and he keeps missing it and gets really frustrated, it's hilarious! Also there's this strange scientist called "Tekuma Nekasa" who I think cracks the gene code for generating. All anime lovers I urge you to watch it. It has fantastic graphics and battle scenes in all 3 of the 1st 3 episodes (not volumes I've only seen vol. 1). On a scale of 1 to 10, i'd give a 1,000,000!!!!!!!!!!! ADV Films really picked a good saga to translate and sell. Props to the opening theme!

Summary: Great Originality
Review: I am not a huge fan of anime but I believe that makes me only shrewder in my choices of which I will buy. This series so far has been very entertaining especially because it has mixed humor in with violence and the whole plot so well. I personally have watched this series over many times since I have bought the first two dvds. Right now I am anxiously awaiting the third. I believe the best part about this series is that it doesn't rely on the animation too heavily or the violence but brings it all together

Summary: Generator Gawl is quite appealing!!!
Review: I attually found out about Generator Gawl ,cause of a trailer from an Adv Anime dvd that I bought. When I first heard of the highly addictive, hard edge rock theme song, I want out ,and saw the fast pace action sequence of the trailer. It won me over instantly. I needed to get it fast! When I finally got the first volume, I've notice it was different from what I anticipated to see. I thought it was mostly action, generator versus generator. But,it's mostly comedy, drama, romance, suspense, ,and almost at the end of each episode comes the action sequence. This series has it all!!! This anime is a must get!

Summary: A great show: even better on DVD!
Review: I first heard about Gawl recently, and decided I had to see it because of the seiyuu it features. (Mainly Nobutoshi Hayashi and Shinichiro Miki among many other famous names!) The DVD has lots of features, the best being the multi-lingual option! The dub isn't too bad, but the subbed version is still far better. (There isn't a subbed version available on VHS, therefore the DVD is a far better choice!) If you haven't seen this anime yet, I highly HIGHLY recommend it. It has something for everyone: great action scenes, in-depth characters, and plenty of comedy. As well it's got great animation, storyline, dialogue and voice acting! It's got a great atmosphere and is HIGHLY addictive! Go and see it right now!! GO!

Summary: This anime is great!
Review: I hardly knew anything about Genertor Gawl when I bough it. I remembered seeing a trailor for it on another ADV DVD but I bought it anyways. Surprisingly, this anime was good, Really GOOD. With a nice mix of likes such as comedy and action, it was great. Though the story at first as rough to understand in the beginning, the rest of the elements of this seires, such as the comedy and action, made me forget about that and made me want to see more. The animation is great, and thing music was pretty good too. I suggest this as an anime that any collector or anime fan should have, or at leat see. I think the only downfall is that it only has 3 episodes, but it's still worth it!

Review: I loved this anime. Bought on a whim and can't say I regret it. I mixes humor in to almost every thing and still makes you think about whats really going on. Can't wait for vol 3 to be sent to me and for vol 4 to be set up for DVD.

Summary: The first DVD in a MUST HAVE series
Review: I own not only Generator Gawl volume one, but also number two, and the recently released number three. I bought the first one on a whim, and it now goes into my annals of luckiest buys of all time. The artwork is very good, the animation is smoth, and the characters are likable. I have to say thet the DVD is the best option as the dub script, while getting the same points accross, seems to be an almost entirely different script. I am a big fan of sub-titles, but I think american fans will love the dub on Generator Gawl. ADV has a top notch team of voice actors, who americanize the anime in an unforgettable manner. The plot is a general science fiction action work, with three young men having come from the future to stop events in the Japan of 2007. Establishing themselves, the are tenents of the impetious and strong willed Masami, and attend the elete Oju Academy. Forces from thier time dont want the future 'corrected' however, and have sent agents to stop them. While it may sound trite, is is accually very interesting. The plot saves room for humor, angst and even a bit of romance <grin>. For an established fan, or a first time Anime watcher, male or female, I would reccomend Generator Gawl across the board. I nearly holding my breath in anticipation of the final chapter or the Ganerator Gawl series.

Review: I saw this video with my friend Robyn for the first time in November. Immediately I pounced on the strong and silent Koji. So, I have 320 pictures of him currently on my computer (just him, unedited screenshots). I wanted to tell anyone who likes anime and cute guys that this is a wonderful movie. Do yourself a favor! It doesn't get your homework done, but it's just wonderful all the same! It's not a long series as far as I know... but even the third episode is worth it all!
