Review: I LOVE ANASTASIA MOVIE. IT WAS THE BEST. PEOPLE WHO THINK ITS JUST A DUMB MOVIE SHOULD GO TO THE MENTAL HOSPITAL. IT IS A GREAT MOVIE OF ALL TIME. IT IS JUST LIKE DISNEY. MY FAVORITE CHARACTERS ARE ANYA/ANASTASIA AND DIMITRI. MY BEST SONG IS "ONCE UPON A DECEMBER." IT TOUCHED MY HEART. I LOVED. ANASTSIA IS A BEST CHARACTER WITH A LITTLE FUNNY ATTITUDES. ANASTASIA ALSO HAD TO SAVE DIMITRI INSTEAD OF HIM SAVING HER, EXCEPT ON THE SHIP HE HAD TO SAVE HER. IT IS REALLY GOOD. I LOVED IT. I WISH I CAN GET ALL KIND OF ANASTASIA'S VIDEOS THAT THEY MADE EVEN ON THE REAL HISTORY. REAL HISTORY IS A TRAGEDY. I CAN CRY IF I'LL SEE THE REAL MOVIE. I LOVE ANASTSIA. SHE IS SO MUCH BETTER. IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THIS MOVIE. BELIEVE ME YOU'LL BUY AFTER THE FIRST TIME YOU SEE IT. THE VOICES ARE WONDERFUL TOO. ESPECIALLY ANASTASIA'S AND DIMITRI'S.

Summary: Nice, but the end-game could have been better...
Review: Lovely movie. Beautiful animation, perfect voice-casting, characters that make you care. However, the end-game was much cheesier than the rest of the movie. And historically accurate, _Anastasia_ ain't. But if you're in the mood for a good animated movie, this is the one.

Review: The movie wasn't exactly giving the correct information and did change the story line a little. However, it is great for children and young adults (teens) to enjoy a film and wonder about what it was really about. I for instance, love this movie. It's gotten me hooked into learning as much as I can about the Russian Revolution. This is a great story that shows what -could have happened- and works out well for all ages.

Summary: The best cartoon movie in years!
Review: This is the best cartoon movie I had seen in years. This movie is everything in quality as Disney, and better! The computer rendered parts blended in with the cartoon animation was done beutifully, the soundtrack is amazing, and the voice acting is superb! I would recomend this to anyone who likes comedies, romances(Ick!), or adventure. If you are looking for a good cartoon movie, go get Anastasia, because it is better than any of the stuff that disney put out any day! This is just a great movie, if you have doubts about it, or think that it might be just some stupid kiddie cartoon, think again. I myself thought that, until I saw it for the first time. GO AND SEE THIS MOVIE!

Summary: This is a very good movie.
Review: Okay, so it's a remake, although, technically it isn't because it is very different from the orriginal movie made in the late 1950's. This is the best cartoon movie I have ever seen in my 17 year life! The plot is full of comody with an action/adventure twist and a little bit of romance thrown in for good measure. This is the only cartoon movie that I(a male) would willingly sit down to watch with my family. the voice acting is great, the songs are catchy and can get stuck in your head easily, including the ballod "Once upon a December" that could make even a grown man start to shed a tear for this poor Russian orphan who is seeking her past. My advice to all who haven't seen it to see it, and if you have seen it, see it again, and again, and again, and then buy it. If this movie could make me sit down and watch it willingly, it has to be good.

Summary: There's finally a good cartoon movie that's not Disney!!!!!!
Review: My family is boycotting the Walt Disney Company, so you can imagine how thrilled I was when I found out that there was a movie playing that I could actually see! When I first saw it, it left me enraptured. As soon as I got home, I phoned my cousins and told them there was this movie they just HAD to see! We went together about ten times! The graphics are stunning, the songs are even better! Who really CARES if the history's not accurate? It's not supposed to be. I mean, some people are acting like it was advertised, "Accurate history movie about the Russian Revolution". It wasn't. so, take my advice and see this movie! Buy it! Show it to you kids, cousins, the boy next door, ect.

Summary: inaccurate but still beautiful
Review: okay okay so we all know that it's a pretty bad depiction of the russian revolution (although rasputin as the evil sorceror isn't really that far of a stretch :) ) and we also know that the depictions of russia and france are exceedingly stereotypical. BUT SO WHAT? that's not the point....the music is great, the story's well done, and the choice of voice actors is wonderful. the animation is excellent, expecially the memory/day-dream sequence in "once upon a december." i love it; it's a great cartoon, not a documentary. try it out :)
