Summary: Trouble Chocolate is Very Yummy!
Review: Trouble Chocolate is fast becoming one of my favorites. I have only rented the first DVD and I am hopelessly hooked. It has everything a great romantic comedy needs. An excellent voice cast. Top of the line animation (for a TV shows not for a film). It's a bit in line with Saber Marionette J and Tenchi in some ways. We have an average student named Cacao who is learning magic. He has one slight flaw. Chocolate is like 80 proof Jack Daniel's to him he also has a habit of mass destruction when drunk. So one day when Professor Ganache (that's his teacher) is summoning a forest spirit Cacao snacks on a bar of magic chocolate that's 200 years past the expiration date. This gets him totally plastered and he sneezes and brakes the magic diagram of sand used in the spell. So the forest sprit takes over the body of a wooden puppet. Enter Hinano and of course she is a total babe with magic powers and with in twenty minutes we have another guy falling for her. A rich jerk named Truffle. Oh by the way she is made out of wood. We have a lot of jokes at DBZ and Gundum's expense. We have teachers that are vampires, wizards and a she\male Frankenstein that's a little oversensitive. I don't want to spoil the rest for you but its got magic, monsters, food and romance galore. My only complaint is that there are very little extra features on this DVD. I hope someday that Cartoon Network might run this show so others can see it. Enjoy and lay off the chocolate!
