Summary: Quite Enjoyable
Review: I rather enjoyed the Japanese seiyuu in this anime, as well as the animation quality.

Summary: Gundam Wing is a great anime show
Review: This show as a much better story line then Dragonball Z. It has a great plot. The first episode is a little boring, but when you get towards the end you get interested. The more you watch the show the more you get into it. If you miss just one episode you get confused so you know there is more to this show then meets the eye. The DVD has good quality so you won't be going wrong if you get this.

Summary: The videos GREAT!!!!!
Review: Hey,What can i say its GOOD.I never saw the first of the episodes until i got this video.I have watched it about 20 times they are good episodes, it shows all of the Gundam pilots first missions and how Relena came to know Heero. It has a lot of action in it (you would think Heero was super human,he was jumping off really really high buildings) it also has some bad words in it but not to bad, nothing that your kids haven't heared before.I think it would be for kids 7 and up.

Summary: Been looking for something like this for a long time
Review: Ever since Robotech, I have been looking for other interesting Mech series to satisfy my taste for anime! I found it here. The story is deep and involved and causes one to become deeply involved in it. The animation is top notch and exciting to watch. I would recommend this to anyone who loves the Mech genre.

Summary: Gundam is Good!
Review: I will be the first admit, this VHS tape is not the most action packed one released yet, it is also not the best, but if you want to be able to go back and watch the beginning and check the storyline out again, then this tape is great. I have probably seen it nearly seven or eight times already and have now purchased the first four. I am now going to get all the Gundam videos that come out! Then episodes document the beginning of Gundam Wing when 5 pilots were sent to Earth to complete their specified missions. Travel with Heero Yuy, Duo Maxwell, Trowa Barton, Quatre Winner, and Chang Wufei as they battle the United Earth Sphere Alliance and the specials division within the Alliance known as OZ. Note the epic Mobile Suit battles that are waged throughout the series. There are so many interesting Mobile Suits in the show with such different qualities that I cannot pick a favorite. Order your copy today!

This review is regarding the VHS release and not the DVD.

Summary: Not Very Good
Review: I was pretty disappointed with Mobile Suit Gundam Wing - Operation 1. The animation was good, but nothing spectacular. The story a major disappointment. Hard to follow and didn't make much sense.

Summary: A Great Start To A Great Series
Review: Gundam Wing is one of the best anime television series out there, and the series comes off with a great start in these early 5 episodes. In the first episode, 5 mysterious Mobile Suits are sent to earth. Four of them reach earth safely, but 1 is seen in the atmosphere by a military aircraft. The Mobile Suit is shot down and crashes into the sea below. How will the pilot of this Mobile Suit, the mysterious Heero Yuy, recover his suit? What will he do about Relena, the girl who witnessed the event? And how will he deal with characters like Zechs Marquise who are trying to get his Mobile Suit for themselves? You'll have to watch to find out. This is just one of the many storylines introduced in the first 5 episodes, soon to explode into a huge complex series.

Summary: Gundam Wing: Operation 1
Review: Recently introduced to this series, I have to say it is extremely enjoyable. While at first glance, this may seem like your average "Big Robots", "Big Guns" series, it is far beyond this generic classification.

The story is quite intricate and there is alot of deeper meaning that might be missed on first viewing. In general, the story focuses on war, and the idealism of how a war should be fought, as well as honor and chivalry of the soliders themselves.

This particular DVD ( Operation 1 ), contains the first 5 episodes of the Gundam: Wing series. The visual quality is great, with a few visual artifacts present. The sound quality is okay, in Dobly Digital Stereo ( 2 channel ). However the volume doesn't seem to stay very constant at times.

I suggest watching this is Japanese with subtitles, however the English dub is done very nicely. Some wording and meaning changed in the English dub, though nothing major. The only noticable annoyance I have found in the subtitling is the opening and closing scenes on episode 2 and 4 are reveresed ( English becomes Japanese ). This may be on purpose however.

Overall, I have to give it 4 stars. While the series if 5 star quality material, I don't feel that the publisher really put 100% effort into the quailty. Some things could be improved upon, however in my opinion it was money well spent.

Summary: A descent Anime for kids
Review: This anime is O.k. The clasic cliche of a boy his Robot. This one basicaly follows a Boy called Herro Yui and a four other pilots Of "mobile suits" fightin an evil organization called Oz, and of course they Have super human Abilitiesand the greatest of Mechas. This one could have easily earned a four or even a five if not for the fact that it tries to impose a sense of sophistication by using large words and trying to foccus on pacifism which creates a false sense of sophistication in the less citified audience, Still it is fun to watch and has you itching to see what happens next so you should buy it if you enjoy this genre of anime.

Summary: It's Gundam. What did you expect?
Review: Well. It's a Gundam Wing thingy. You don't really need to see it to know it deserves five stars! I've seen all 49 episodes of Gundam Wing and the beginning of Eternal Waltz, and I just have to say that Gundam Wing is the coolest Anime ever. Whether you want to see the massive fireballs that erupt from the Mobile Suits the Gundams rip open or the Drama and lectures on the stupidity of war, this thing has it all. A must own, for families and die-hard anime veiwers alike. I suggest that you shouldn't let kids under the age of 4 see it as it does have some violence and swearing (Duo says: "Godd*** you to H***"), but other than that, violence is restricted to robots and buildings being destroyed, with maybe the occaisional gun shot to the arm. BUY NOW!
