Summary: Worth your money and time
Review: This series is pretty good. Again, it's one of those you'll have to watch a few times to really appreciate. The nice thing about this DVD is that your get something very much worth your money. When the individual DVDs before sold for [more] a piece, and there being 4 DVDs available (not including the edited Toonami version) I can't say how good of a deal this is. Worth your money, worth your time. Pick it up and enjoy some modern anime. Done with some excellent animation along with the aid of computers, this is a worthwhile pick of the litter.

Summary: Great, but...
Review: Well, I can agree with what all of the other people say-good series, some wierd parts. But, above it says the DVD's contain the edited version. They DON'T!!! I really wanted to show this to one of my friends, but I can't because of some choice parts.

Review: Wow! What stunning animation, the fluid motion scenes are just the best (even by today's standards). Fabulous battle scenes that are genuinely exciting, and some very sad scene (bring a hanky). Some of the music has made it into my permanent mp3 collection as well ;-)

It's an eco story in the best tradition of Anime. The characters are very recognisable, but Anime is made up of such standard characters e.g. the embittered veteran, the naive young women, the mad scientist etc, but it's none- the- worse for this.

If you cannot appreciate how good a piece of work this is, then perhaps you need to stick to watching DragonBall Z.
