Summary: Sailor Moon's totally Kewl !!
Review: Finally finishing off the great 'Season 2' or Sailor Moon R as i like 2 call it, we finally get to see the dark side of Rini (heheheh), as the Black Moon Clan start there invasion on the earth of the present Wise man gets his hands on Small Lady. Turning her old memories of her mother, father and sailor senshi into living proof they don't love her anymore she is transformed and aged into a [cute] new villian called 'Wicked Lady' (Black Lady to those cool Japanese fanz!) and now with her great dark power on the evil side it prooves to be Sailor Moon's hardest battle yet, the battle against Rini, her daughter. With the only chance at defeating the Death Phantom is to bring the good Rini back will Serena be able to do it in time to save the world or will Rini be evil forever? And as for the Black Moon family, you'd better watch your back also because Wise man's not all he's cracked up to be. Concluding the final episodes in the R saga and recievng 4 out of 5 great stars, -1 because it doesn't come in Japanese too...with comedy, adventure and romance (and my fav. eisodes personally, i love Black Lady!) "Sailor Moon Says..."

Summary: NO UNCUT JAPANESE VERSION!?
Review: For those of you who don't know, Sailor Moon is an anime series about a group of girls with the ability to transform into warriors so that they can battle the forces of evil. It sounds like something that's been done to death, but this series pulls it off nicely. Each episode of the series contains a good deal of dramatic action, with some comedy thrown in to make the series a bit more appealing. Originally it was intended for pre-teenage girls in Japan, but it has drawn in fans from many age groups and nationalities. The series began airing in America as early as 1995, but the episodes were horribly edited, and the dialogue was butchered. The poor time slot didn't help things ever, and eventually it vanished without a trace, until it was picked up by the Cartoon Network, which aired several new episodes, but these suffered the same flaws as their early North American predecessors.

This DVD is of the series as it appeared on Cartoon Network, and that is NOT a good thing. The main reason I buy anime DVDs is for an uncut Japanese subtitled version, AND THIS DVD DOESN'T HAVE ONE! That pretty much ruins the DVD. The only thing that saves this from a single star is that it's part of the Sailor Moon series. If you want the uncut version of these episodes, you're not gonna find it here.

Summary: not really a review
Review: Hey!!
I love Sailor Moon, the TV show and the movies. I think they're awsome! But this isn't really a review of the DVDs, I don't even own any. I want to buy the TV show DVDs vol. 1-14 but I want to make sure that they're in English not Japanese before I buy them. So if anyone could help me and let me know, that would be great. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

Summary: Best Part of Sailor Moon R
Review: There are 5 episodes in this DVD:

"Birth of the Wicked Lady" Rini is tricked by Wise Man and becomes Wicked Lady. She attacks the sailor scouts and later returns to the negamoon

"Brotherly Love" Sapphire discovers Wise Man is just using his brother Diamond. He is too late to tell Diamond the truth before he dies

"Diamond in the Roughed" Diamond tries to hypnotize Sailor Moon into being with him. He fails and realized what Wise Man is the Doom Phantom and tries to kill him but he fails and dies.

"Final Battle" Like the titles says, this is the FINALL BATTLE when Rini becomes herself again and joins Sailor Moon to fight the Doom Phantom

"Follow the Leader" This episode is just reclips of all the season. The scouts argue on who the true leader is. They notice two sailors in a tree and decide to find out who they could be. They also find out that they have a new enemy because Rei was having preminitions of the future

This is a really good part of the season. The last episode brings it down to 4 stars but the other 4 are amazing!

Summary: A Pretty Bad Dub
Review: These DVDs contain DiC's dub of the first and second "Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon" series from Japan, Classic and R. They are in English only; there are no original Japanese episodes. The episode previews and the Sailor Says segments are included, but the commercial bumpers aren't. There are no bonus features except for previews of other ADV titles. The DVDs and the episodes aren't numbered, so you'll have to check either an online episode guide or Amazon to figure out which volume to watch first. 6 of the episodes were skipped, and 2 of the episodes were chopped up and merged into 1. In fact, all of the episodes have been chopped up. DiC felt the need to remove or alter shots of Japanese writing (but not all of them), add in extra bits of animation, and use weird scene transition effects. The translations are pretty inaccurate for the most part, and some of the casting (such as Luna and Molly's voices) are totally wrong. The dialogue is also dumbed down to make the series (which was originally intended for junior high and high school girls) suitable for children. Sailor Moon and Sailor Mars each have 2 voice actors. Tuxedo Mask has 3. Rini's voice is really annoying. The dub was my first exposure to Sailor Moon, though (well, technically, "Lunarock" was), and it's an okay series as long as you don't compare it to the original Japanese series. If you've never seen Sailor Moon before, get the "Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon" boxed sets.
