The special effects, the meaning behind the story, the modern lingo...how many movies are any good today? This one is. It is great. Review: Lots of toilet humor and sexual inuendo. At first glance it seems like a good movie to take your small children to, but it has quite a bit of garbage in it. Not recommended.

Review: I was hesitant to see this movie. I'm 15, and I know that when Eddie Murphy and Mike Myers eam up, it's likely to be a gross out comedy. But the reviews were great, so I saw it anyway. I LOVED IT. This humour was great, and the pokes at disney, i.e "It's a Small World", "You are parked in Knight", left me hurting I was laughing so hard. When Princess Fiona mocks Sleeping Beauty by singing so melodically to the bird, and the bird explodes, well, take it from there.The thing is, Mike Meyers character wasn't funny. It was the most serious role in the movie, kind o surprising, because Mike meyers is a very funny man. Nothing he says is funny, but Shreks Actions are. The cast is perfect, and the plot is perfect too. I hear that the Academy is adding the category of best Animated Feature Film. Shrek might have something there
